3. First time having this one. After a little bit of a struggle getting her lit, it was a pretty good smoke. It might have needed a little more rest but it was still a good cigar. Thanks Conan

4. And 5. Smoked them both on the same night. GREAT cigars. The weather was perfect and they were a great addition to the wonderful weather.

Pretty sure the Tat was from the Wombat. Not sure about the Bolivar.
Thanks to both!

11. I forgot how much I liked these. Steve, you threw in some great smokes. This one was a billowing, smoke machine. Perfect draw, great flavor. Thank you very much.

I am heading out to Vegas on Sunday and I have the travel humidor packed up and ready to go. Pretty sure that a few on the list will meet their demise. I can’t wait. Maybe the tables will be good to me. I hope to be saying “Winner winner, chicken dinner” with a cigar in my mouth and chips in my hand. 👍🏻😃

6. Was ashed sitting in the Hooter’s Casino Bar watching GB beat KC. Taste was pretty good but it was a tight roll. Hard to get good smoke out of it. Still a good smoke. Thank you Delta.

7. Ahhhh, lucky number 7. This was a wonderful cigar. I enjoyed it while at the same bar as above but while watching the Nationals win the World Series. This was a fantastic smoke. A perfect roll. Great, billowing smoke clouds after every draw. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks Delta....again.

sorry about the tight draw on the Cuaba...

the Fuente Rosado Sun Grown 8-5-8 is one of my all-time faves...they are rarely available...and I always buy a box when I find them...glad you enjoyed it, and smoked it after the Cuaba...lol

the RSG 858 are different from the Fuente Flor Fina 8-5-8 Sungrown, also a good smoke...

That was a 2008, if I remember which box I took it out of.

Disclaimer: poor attention to detail on my part.

In post #4, I said I had smoked the Bolivar. Well, somehow I was mistaken. It was actually the Punch, #14. The review of it is the same.

#4, for real this time, I smoked with one of my coworkers at the bar/ casino. It was very smooth and very enjoyable. I provided him with an H. Upmann half corona. A great relaxing night away from our long hours of work.

#9, met up with one of my fellow, Air Force retiree buddies and smoked it at a casino sports book. Also provided him with the same as above. (Both of them aren’t big cigar smokers but loved the CC cigars). The Opus X was fantastic! The only low point was realizing that I left my best cutter there and it is now in the possession of someone else. 😞

#19. On Sunday, I went to the Orleans to catch a movie after gambling a bit. I lit up the Isabella at the craps table. I was not expecting the sweet tip. The name of it was Pepperhead. I was expecting a peppery cigar. Nope. The first half was slightly tough to draw but then it opened up and burned/smoked perfectly. Gambling was semi-successful (about 6 hours worth but never made it to the movies).

#8. Somehow, surprising to me, my brother came to Vegas for his work on Monday. We met up and went to Fremont St. I smoked this one while watching a couple of bands play. They were good and the cigar was great. It even helped get us a nice open space to enjoy the band. For some reason people don’t like cigar smoke mixing with their enjoyment of marijuana smoke. 🤪

#1. After a rather long (11+ hours) workday, I needed to unwind. I almost forgot how much I enjoy an AF Añejo. I had horrible luck at the craps table but I was smoking this gem and it eased the pain.....a little.

So, a belated thanks to steve02 for #14, fiddler for #4, steve02 for #9, Palama for #19, fiddler for #8, and palama for #1.

This has been a great treat to smoke all of these fantastic cigars. I will continue on.

David

#10. OMG!!!! Last night in Vegas and I lit this up watching the Raiders win me a small bet. I have to say that this cigar is right near the top of the best cigars I have smoked. It was perfect. TONS of smoke and great flavor.

Steve02, thank you very much for a spectacular cigar!!

I certainly did.

#13. Smoked it yesterday, Veterans Day. I saved it just for yesterday. Being that it was the 30 year limited edition. 30 years ago, I started my journey in the Air Force (Sep 1989). I felt it was fitting to ash this one.

It was another wonderful smoke. Much longer smoke than what I have been smoking lately. I was enjoying the great weather and smoking a brisket at the same time. For me, AVO have been hit or miss. This was definitely a hit.

Another great cigar from Steve02.

(I think a future thank you, from me, is certainly needed)

Sounds like you had a great time in Vegas David. With a few inches of snow on the ground and feels-like temps near zero I just enjoyed a few smokes and a trip to a warm climate vicariously through you Herfing

The cold weather is starting to barrel down on the Florida Panhandle. Temps are dropping like a rock. We might be down to freezing overnight. Wtf!!!

Hey Stinger, when you gonna smoke the cigar(s) that CigarWench sent you in the pass?

What, she didn’t?!?! Sheesh, I thought she was an experienced member of other sites and knew the ropes?

Or not.

Don’t think she put anything in for the host (not expected) but pretty sure she took her free LP T52.

Update.

#16. Smoked it a couple days ago. The weather here was awesome. Nothing like a 70 degree day in Florida. The LG smoked like a dream. I smoked it a little too fast at time but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I watched the most recent Star Wars while I smoked it. Thank you Kipp.

#2. I have to believe this was an OR. I have heard the more recent ones aren’t as strong. This thing knocked me silly. Flavor was on point, the nicotine was pretty high, and I ate a spoonful of sugar to keep the shakes away. Thanks for a kick ass cigar ClintCigar.
