Looks like the left-wing party in England got trounced by the conservative party.

"Seats in places such as Bolsover, Workington, Blyth Valley, Burnley, Wrexham and Stoke-on-Trent toppled one after another, each one yet another nail in the coffin of Labour’s hopes of ushering in a socialist government and preventing Britain’s departure from the European Union. It represented what many commentators are seeing as a realignment in British politics, as the Conservatives ripped up the electoral map and made gains in the North East, the North West and Wales in particular."

Looks like they're choosing freedom from the European Union.

we have huge deposits, but have restricted drilling...Trump has approved new drilling and fracking in CA...there's gonna be some push-back, because large scale fracking in other places has led to earthquakes, not a smart thing to do in earthquake country...

we are about 40 miles from the coast ... and about 150 miles from the proposed drilling sites....and fortunately not real close to the major earthquake fault zones in SoCal

The conservatives ran on a three word phrase, "Get Britexit Done" and won around 70% of the seats. Seems like all those news stories I've read that claim that the majority of Brits are against leaving the EU where lies. Of course the day after the election, leftist children where out doing what leftist children do when they lose. Stomping their feet, holding their breath and destroying property.

I am just a yank but I say good for them. They got their Trump in BoJo and we got our Trump. People are tired of socialism and communism. It always leads to the death of millions that disagree with it and shockingly enough, people like living.
