Zody! Applause

Kind of anyway. LOL

I was digging through the winador today (I really have to get organized) and stumbled on some "Genuine Counterfeit Cubans" a guy at work told me "They get pretty good" when I first got back into cigars. I should have known better than to listen to a bubblehead. (Submariner)

The damned thing was completely unrolling. d'oh! Well, I had a container of the Wilton Gum-Tex that Zody uses for his cigar glue, and I thought "Why not mix some now and see?"

The stuff is great. I got it mixed per his instructions, the trick is giving it time to "bloom" or take on the water. You can stir forever but it has to hydrate to dissolve. It's kind of like working with gelatin.

I put a bit on the cigar and re-rolled it squeegeeing the excess out as I went. Voila. Very nice. So I gave it 10 minutes or so while I got prepped and cleaned up, then fired that dog rocket up.

The damned thing smoked very well. I was shocked actually. Yeah, it's a dog rocket but the re-glued portion burned down evenly. LOL, better than new I think.

I whole heartedly can back this stuff. It's easy to make, and works great. I now have a 50 year supply if anybody wants some. Hit me up, I'd be glad to share.
