Gave the smash burgers a try tonight and they turned out pretty good. Maybe a tad over cooked but still good.

4oz loosely formed meatball pressed really flat on the hot surface. Cooks really quick and forms crust on the patty surface.

Used american this time around.

Do the legs remove easily from this thing?

Really looks like something I need in my mobile cooking arsenal.

I'm unofficially catering 5 events this year, and I don't have my camper for 3 of them.

Entire unit consist of three pieces and requires no tools for setup. The disc, and the two piece slotted base with the burner part of one of these. FYI, the disc weighs 60 lb's and the base is not nearly that heavy but plenty strong to support the disc.
The disc 22" wide x 5" deep and will hold up to 5 gal of liquid. The unit comes setup to use the 1 lb bottles but there is a kit offered that will allow the use of the 20 lb bottle. So far I'm averaging 5-5.5 cooks per 1 lb bottle. The unit we have is the 36" model and they also offer a 24" model and offer one with no sides on the disc which makes it more like a discada or cowboy wok.
