I heard the FBI was keeping people from the flea market too. They're trying to cut off your source of income.

I sold a Pfluger Progress no.1774 to some schmuck who didn't realize there is a listening device and tracking beacon in it. It was much easier than putting it in his flu shot or colonoscopy like we had to do over the years.

But if you don't need to sneak into their H.U.T at night to give them secret colonoscopies how are you going to leave the upper deckers?

It's the economy, stupid.

Why buy somebody's rusty old crap when we can go to Walmart and buy brand new crap?

nailed it, Gene...my thought the last time I went to one 35 or so years ago at Vet's Stadium in Long Beach: did I just step onto another planet? Even the dogs looked extraterrestrial...

the one implanted during your colonoscopy worked for several years. What makes you think a minute in the creek is more of a torture test?

I don't know if they still have a monthly Rose Bowl swap meet in Pasadena, CA, but it was entertaining and a great place to sell stuff. A guy I worked with was a regular going East to bring back old oak ice boxes and cast iron wood stoves to sell. He talked me into going to sell some old junk. I sold everything, but only after rasing my prices to sublime levels recommended by my buddy, apparently if you price too low people believe it's junk... except it was.
