There are a few brands I've heard a lot about but don't have much experience with. If you were ordering any of these brands which cigar would you order or not order?

Cuaba
H. Uppman
Hoyo De Monterrey
La Gloria Cubana
Por Larranaga
Saint Luis Rey
San Cristobal De La Habana
Trinidad

I like the H. Uppman half corona and the San Cristobal De La Habana El Principe. Both of these have been consistent from box to box with good draw, burn, taste, etc.
Can't speak on any of the others.

Cuaba - Salomon - recommend with a bit of age
H. Upmann - I've had a couple coronas and they were just ok
La Gloria Cubana - Medaille no 4 - highly recommend panatela
Por Larranaga - again the panatelas were good
SLR - I have a cuban regional that I have yet to smoke
San Cristobal - El principe all the way. One of my top 10.

H Upmann - #2 and Mag 46
PLPC
Hoyo Epi #2
Trini Fundadores
SCdH La Punta
LGC any Medaille D'Or but most are discontinued

No Bolivar, Partagas or Juan Lopez outrage.

Big ++ on the Hoyo Epi #2, one of my all time favorites.

H.U. Mag 46 right up there as well. I like getting the Tubos.

I enjoy the Partagas Shorts. They are always consistent and great ROTT. Other Party's not so much

IF you get lucky and Get a Good Monticristo #2, you will be smoking one of the Best Cigars ever. HOWEVER, they are hit and miss, you are just as likely to get one that is Blah.

Bargain Basement??? Verueros are not in the same league as the above but a very good smoke and very affordable.

Size matters....but to answer OP about marcas only,.....I ALWAYS have on hand:
Punch
H Upmann
Ramon Allones

Of these:
Cuaba
Hoyo De Monterrey
La Gloria Cubana
Por Larranaga
Saint Luis Rey
San Cristobal De La Habana
Trinidad

I'd only put PL as a can't miss in nearly any size.
Cuaba, LGC, SLR are lines that I can pass on.
SCdLH and Trini are good in small formats, but haven't had larger ones that made me seek out a box.
HdM have been hit or miss for me

Cuaba -- Bigger sizes are great, never had a teeny one
H. Uppman -- Mostly good, but can be inconsistent like Monte
Hoyo De Monterrey -- Mild and boring except for the Hoyo Du line
La Gloria Cubana -- Never had one, I don't like the sizes
Por Larranaga -- Petit coronas are a really good little smoke
Saint Luis Rey -- Avoid.
San Cristobal De La Habana -- Good but need a long rest
Trinidad -- Never tried the tins, the rest are good but overpriced IMO

Cuaba - Distinguisho, the Divinos are too damn small
H. Uppman - Connie #1 is very good
Hoyo De Monterrey - I love the Petite Robustos, hate the prices they nominally go for. The no. 1 and no. 2 are good too, but these can all seem a bit mild if you are primarily a NC smoker.
La Gloria Cubana - I'm weirdly not a fan of the no 4, and since that is basically the extent of the marca, not much else to say.
Por Larranaga - the Montecarlo is good, and while many say they aren't real PL's, I really like the Picadores. The Pantellas are also a nice cheap and cheerful but get them soon as I understand they are being discontinued.
Saint Luis Rey - the DCs are great (if mild), but not currently being produced.
San Cristobal De La Habana - prinicpe are a must try
Trinidad - Fundys are phenomenal, and while others have raved about the Vigias, I've had a unacceptable level of badly constructed ones.

And what makes you think that Diaz-Canel is any worse than Ortega and the others?

A lot of the names mentioned in that song make it sound really dated, but it's still on my '100 Favorite Songs of All Time' list. The whole album is really good, honestly.

We've talked about this in Texas for a long time...……...with our express lane this should be at least twice weekly.

Never had an H. Uppman,SCdLH or Trinidad I did not like...…..that being said I think they can all be beat by a couple DR and Nic sticks.
