So tonight I will be celebrating St. Pat's with a few Yuengling Lagers, some Jamison(probably mixed into a Green tea) and a Bailey's or two. What if any cigars do you guys think pair well with a Lager and some Whiskey on the side. What cigar would you pair with something creamy like Bailey's? Inquiring minds and all that.

Sweet I think Clint just sent me one. Sorry Clint, I've been a slacker about taking pics and posting them. You deserve better....... (I put on the cone of shame so I can't touch myself.)

StePHen,
Next time you're in the liquor store buying Bailey's, try a bottle of St Brendans instead. ThumpUp
I think you'll like it better !

Just curious . . . Have you smoked any of those "yellow cellos" from lunch yet ?

1 Padilla Miami 2010 DEAD
1 Black Pearl OR (Saving this one for this weekend. I'll have the house to myself for a few hours.)
1 AVO Signature OR (Already in my Herf-A-Dor for tonight!)
1 Blind Man's Bluff DEAD
1 Skull and Bones
1 Crowned Heads J.D. Howard Reserve
1 Crowned Heads La Imperiosa Double Robusto
1 Cupido Tuxedo
1 Partagas Serie D No. 4 DEAD
1 Montecristo Petite Edmuno DEAD

The rest are sitting in the top tray of a humidor clinging to each other, crying. They know they won't survive next week. Each one has been heaven! I refused to speak to anyone or pay attention to anything while smoking. I was so deep into just enjoying the smoke. They're FANTASTIC! Wanna do lunch tomorrow? Heh!

You wouldn't have to twist my arm to get me to go back to SteVen's deli.
Not "tomorrow", but maybe after the COVID19 situation dies down we can set a date.

Glad you're enjoying the cigars !

My state runs a monopoly on liquor stores, and yesterday at 9 PM all of them closed "indefinitely", plus all bars in the state are also closed. This means there is now no legal way to acquire any liquor/spirits in my state.

I responded by buying a schitt-load of really good bourbon yesterday afternoon before the cutoff. I shall ride out the virus apocalypse in long-oak-aged style.

For St. Patty's Day, I had some band-less candela from the bottom of one of my containers, I know not which brand, and a good amount of Knappogue Castle irish whiskey which is aged for 12 years in used bourbon barrels.

2 Guinness Draft with dinner of Corned Beef and Cabbage
Irish Coffee for dessert with Tullamore Dew - I cant find any more Knappogue Castle - its is great stuff.
smoked an H. Upmann The Banker
Was a good night.

Liquor stores closed in my state except for a select few - and only curbside service offered at this time - tell them what you want, give them your credit card and they will bring it to you outside.

Strange times we live in gentlemen.

Cross your fingers, or if you're religious say a prayer, for what may be our two best friends in the entire world right now: Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin.

If interested, see my posts in the general discussion area on the "Corona Virus" thread for details. Together they MIGHT end this pandemic quickly and decisively. Nobody knows yet, but we're gonna find out soon!

Sometimes the answers are the simple ones.
Prayers sent, fingers crossed.

Give them a call. Maybe they can deliver to your location.

In Alabama it is still illegal to have wine or spirits shipped in without going thru a long process at the ABC board so they are certain to get their taxes. I looked into it and not worth the hassle. There is new legislation being proposed to change that this year.
