I wasted my time reading a LONG report by CMNUTS

the entire thing was about torpedoing Trump ! I’m SHOCKED!

Not A SINGLE THING was positive about our POTUS or that matter, anything else!

Not 1 sentence!
Doom and gloom
Cup wasn’t even half empty-it was COMPLETELY empty

It didn’t even try to throw support to a single person-NOBODY

Didn’t even qualify as journalism

So on a POSITIVE NOTE:

CNN was proud of it 😄

This might surprise you, Raymond, but I agree with you.

I watched the CNN Covid-19 town hall meeting last night. It was good and informative. When it was over, Don Lemon came on and spent 15 minutes (until I shut it off) doing nothing but bitching and whining about Trump and the Georgia Governor. Did I agree with most of what he said? Yes. Did I wanna sit and watch what is supposed to be a "news channel" do nothing but editorialize? Nope. Biased "journalism" of all stripes has done nothing but divide this country and is mostly responsible for all the misinformation we have to wade through on a daily basis.

and the other side of the coin is Fox News, with all its pro-Trump propaganda...just as opinionated and editorializing as CNN, MSNBC...

want just basic reporting of facts, watch your local news station broadcasts, without listening to their editorial comments...or BBC News

There is no such thing as unbiased journalism. There is *independent* journalism, but no unbiased journalism. That's why you should get your news from more than one or two sources.

For example, I like Democracy Now! They are all flaming Commies, but the fact is that they are unafraid to criticize Democrats. So, knowing that they are straight up Commies, I can interpret their stories and make my own conclusions.

I also like Reason Magazine. They are the essentially the news outlet of the Libertarian Party, so their news stories are going to have that slant. So, knowing that they are libertarians, I can interpret their stories and make my own conclusions.
