Smoking a bunch of Party Shorts recently. For some reason this cab has weird burn issues but tastes great.

Last public Imgur post though. All these snowflakes sitting in their grammy's basement have nothing better to do than virtue signal.

Special price made these affordable. Second one I have had and I'm thinking they will need 2-3 years to be good. Still tannic at this point.

I got the 50s and 54s on special, ROTT nothing special but I'd like to think that DED's experience will lead to these being good in 2-3 years. I put them away for a long nap and will be watching to see when people say they are ready.

Quite welcome, I sipped some ORVW from '15 as well.

Also gonna need the name of the hotel/resort you mentioned to come and visit. We have plenty of Southwest money since we cancelled the July Mexico trip. Wife said the first flights she saw were in September, I think?!!?

Last night, Monte Dantes - Think these are '18? Was not very good frankly, hoping they're just going through a late sick-period or something.

H. Upmann Conn. A - it was a celebratory smoke. Very nice and it lasted about 2 hours. I think I have a couple more (did a split a couple years back).

Can someone tell me where to buy them?

As a person who has a large selection of Cubans and have smoked them for 35 years, I’m not sure they are worth the hype or price. But then again the fruit of the forbidden fruit! I’m sure this post will get some response from the projected Cuban lovers.

Seems strange with your perspective that you would have such "a large selection". If you don't find them to have qualities not found in DR/Nic smokes why buy them?

Holy smokes these might be the best fresh cubans I have smoked. If large format med-mild cigars are your thing there is nothing better.

You sound like a liar... if you've got a huge selection and you've smoked them for 35 years, you should know they are not any more expensive than the dominican, nicaraguan, costa rican smokes we can get in the USA. In fact, in my 17 years smoking them I much prefer them and find them to be even less expensive.

Unless you're buying from Canada, the UK or Australia... in which case you're not a liar, just ignorant to the cheaper prices from duty free zones.

I agree that CC strength is almost never above medium but if u want fuller ‘body’ in terms of thicker texture or “mouth feel” and fuller or more pronounced flavors, then the Boli or Partagas Ds r a good bet. On the other hand, I’ve been really enjoying the larger Robainas profile more than anything right now. Can’t call it more than medium but quite flavorful, balanced, and complex in a more subtle way, plus the strength and fullness picks up alot towards the final third. Finishing mine while writing this and really digging it despite being a big Nica strength fan.

Not a good open question. Not talking

And I personally don't have an answer for you 'cause I don't buy Cubans through the online international vendors (...tried once with almost disastrous results...).
