Holy hell. Both Corey and Benja’s hits arrived today.
1st....they both don’t know how to count.
2nd...I think they had a competition to see just how many cigars they could pack into an SFR box.

I need to sit down and write up the damage.

Great hots fellas. Thank you very much.

Really nice selection Corey, well done!

The barber pole is this:
PUNK ROCK is a super-toro barber pole made with San Andres, Connecticut, and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Full-bodied with med/full strength.

Flavors of leather, cocoa, clove, cinnamon, black pepper, espresso, heavy cream, and sugar.

sitting out there waiting for my lazyass mail carrier to potentially show up.

I asserted restraint, its a SFR box and I didn't even come close to my record 18 cigars in one box.

“Restraint” my arse! ram27bat

Benja packed his SFR to the flockin’ brim! Packed with cigars, a couple of miniatures as well as biodegradable foam popcorn, not a single square inch was left open. I’ll have to do a little bit of hunting and pecking to properly identify all the smokes but will post up once I’m done.

Thank you very much David! ThumpUp

well, it wasn't my record of 18 so that's restraint, hope you enjoy the selection.

Okay, the “restrained” hit from Benja:

Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro (nh)
A. Fuente 8-5-8 Maduro - love these! In my Top 5 Everyday Smokes (...if I had a list...)
A. Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Shark - are you freakin’ kidding me? This ain’t no nOOb stick!
Crowned Heads Four Kicks Black Belt Buckle Sublime - had a BBB CG a ways back but never the Toro
Diamond Crown #5 Maduro - nh
Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Belicoso - nh
Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9 Coronets - nh but have another one from Benja waiting to be ashed up
Drew Estate Herrera Esteli Coronita - nh but always wanted to try
Drew Estate Papa Fritas - haven’t had one in awhile, good time to revisit
Drew Estate Sin Compromiso Intrepido - nh but have heard lots of good things about them
La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Magnifico - nh this vitola
My Father CT Corona Gorda - quite possibly my favorite Connecticut wrapped cigar
Punch Signature Pita - nh
San Lotano Dominico - nh
Southern Draw Firethorn Perfecto - White - had one from SOB and liked it

Total of 15 cigars, 10 are nh.

But wait, there were a couple of miniature adult beverages to wet my whistle:

Rebecca Creek 306 Texas whiskey
Caruva Horchata Cream Liqueur

Both from distilleries from Texas.

Awesome, awesome hit. Thanks again David!

Interesting. Like looking at old photos with people I never met scattered around ones I know. I'm not much for outright competitions, even tho I am competitive in my own way. Glad that didn't break out in this group.
I like this timeline better.

I wasn’t very active on the forum until I got pulled into the Battle but it proved to be fun and I got to “meet” some cool guys. Unfortunately the vast majority of the participants no longer or very infrequently drop in and post. And while it was supposed to be a competition between the two years, I don’t recall any final judgment.

Sad to say but I don’t think there are enough active 2018, 2019 or 2020ers to do anything like this anytime soon.

Got a very nice 5er in the mail, it was there since Friday but I must have picked up mail early and missed it!
Here's the list- first 4 are robusto but some big rings

1. CAO Brasilla -nh
2. Partagas Maduro- nh
3. Gran Habano Vintage 2002 cedar wrapped-had long ago and I think i remember enjoying it
4. Bahia Maduro -red label- nh
5. RP The Edge Toro- another one I think I tried a few years ago and liked.

Thanks for the nice dark selection and the crazy fast arrival.Beer

So Benja, you are correct, it is a Partagas Black, not Maduro.

I hope my offer was received well. I also hope what I sent was sufficient to satisfy the n00b PIB.

On that note, I believe I have to ask...

OK, who wants to send me cigars?
