Hi everyone ,, I purchased a bunch of cigars then I bought a lighter which I thought was full before I purchased my 1st butane lighter ,, went out bought butane filled lighter pushed button to light cigar and flames went over a foot burning my eyebrows... sent cigarbid an email asking for refund they have not gotten back to me yet I just sent another email; asking for a refund of this broken lighter … whats your take on this issue I have ? thanks

also, the high commission ALWAYS rules that eyebrow damage resulting form improper lighter use is operator error and does not qualify for any compensation or refunds. In fact, you should send back the cigars you bought, you don't deserve them. I mean, you effed up lighting a lighter, dude. How did you make it this far in life?

Damn! That’s a helluva lighter but it may not be defective. Check to see if there’s a flame height adjuster somewhere on the bottom of the lighter and see if you can reduce the setting.

I never put the lighter up to my cigar while it is in my mouth. Instead, I hold it in my hant to torch it. Otherwise, it will burn too hot when you draw on it, which is not good for the cigar.

Odds are the lighter won’t be considered defective and you’ll either have to live with the big flame or just put it on the side and use it only when you’re in desperate need of a light.

Hope it didn’t cost you too much.... :-&

That's a great lighter. Best for removing nose hair and fantastic for lighting a charcoal grill. What is it and how much did you pay ?

I don't have a clue what his name is. I was just using a line from Strips to try and calm him down. Here's the clip from the movie for context.
