I am gonna try to do a little project and need two nicer looking boxes for a special project. If you have anything yet me know the sizes please. I can PM you the details of what it will be for and let you know if that size will be good. They need to be nice enough to display. Thanks!

I have a hobby of finishing the inside of 50 call ammocans with artistic solid Spanish cedar cigar boxes . The lid, bottom, longsides and short sides all require specific size solid cedar so selection is limited due to sizes needed.
Finally scheduled to finish the humidor at the local tomorrow as they bought yet another case that I'm installing lighting in as well. I can grab whatever boxes you want for you as well I have a bunch of real colorful stuff. Pm me your cell# and I'll text pics of available boxes

That's good info to know. I'm not lookin for stuff, I am just looking for empty boxes to make stuff. I am hoping that the project I'm working on will be good. And when I'm done, I think there will be pictures.

I used to have this amazing triangular cigar box that had two doors on the front that opened up, and had smaller triangular tubes inside with 3 cigars per tube. I have no recollection of what happened to it, or even what kind of cigars were in it. But it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. Anyone recognize this by my description?

EDIT: I did a Google search, and my question was answered! It was the Mayorga High Octane. Those were some dang good cigars too!

Just to point out the obvious. . . Empty boxes would require at least an MFR to ship. I haven't played the game in a bit, but that feels like it would cost ~$10 to ship an empty box filled with empty boxes. While the guys here are great and genuinely don't mind the postage, the postage to ship empty boxes, feels like a waste.

I'm not playing here, but my guess is you are already about to get blown up. Your intent was clearly not to mooch and get blown up, but the guys here are overly generous. My simple advice would to be sure to get a return addy so that you can return fire with a small token of appreciation. Just in case someone's "promise" to send empty boxes escalates a bit.

just my $.02 that no one asked for. . .

Just saying it ain't right to hijack an innocent mooch thread with you own mooch. Plus, careful what you ask for. . . fog

That seems to be the general consensus.

I have a few small boxes if you need. One is particularly nice IIRC but not very large. Let me know if that is of interest to you

I got a few coming in for now. I appreciate it. I will let you know if I need more after this. But with the few I have coming, I should have enough for the first run of the project.

The first part is done, just need to wait for the boxes and put it all together. Sounds like it will be fun when it gets going. Oh and there is a stairway to heaven.

Well, after breaking a box, getting frustrated that things weren't going well for a while. I got one project finished. The other one is gonna be tricky since the remaining boxes are thicker and I need to get a tool so I can do it good. Just got to wait on a few things and there should be a reveal.
