He definitely lied and committed plagiarism.
That leads us to another 2020 presidential election question: Do his blunderous past lies top those of Trump? Or, are they both just one in the same?
I know I endeavor to always put others' work in quotes and/or list my sources. That is an issue of integrity IMO. Definitely a strike against Biden.

I thought that was no longer a consideration when choosing a POTUS, after a guy with as flawed a background as Trump, was elected.

Trumps alternate universe is real for some people here.
If you get the right misinformation from sources you trust (this week I learned that "god fearing" makes a source trustworthy).... then the crap trump spews might be real to them.

These same idiots think Biden is a bumbling fool, but Trump is some mastermind.

I learned this week that the Q idiots actually think Trump is hunting child predators, and that's why he was hanging out with Epstein.

I am not going to bother arguing whether Biden is racist.

But Biden is not advocating political actions which have negative outcomes for minorities. Nor does he rally his "base" around racism

The reason all the white supremacists love trump is not how racist he is. It's because he's willing to turn it into a political platform and a klan rally.

which policies specifically? bear in mind, you don't get to claim "separating children from parents" since that happens under every administration and to every person who commits a serious crime on american soil - regardless of race...

That's not true. The capability was in place, but generally not implemented.
Kelly began considering it in 2017 as a specific deterrent to illegal immigration

But the most recent policy was a doozy. It got lost in the news cycle because we're in the middle of a pandemic.
Obama had put a rule in place in 2015 to support the original 1968 Fair Housing Act. Essentially it required communities which receive Federal money for HUD activities to track segregation in their communities and report every 3-5 years on segregation and have goals in place for reducing it.

This policy was removed by Carson, and replaced with the "Preserving Community and Neighborhood Choice rule" (which honestly has a name that just drips of Identity Dixie or one of those groups) which has no actual enforcement, and no tracking of any neighborhood segregation issues. Essentially turning a policy which was tracking and enforcing into "don't do it".

The real doozy... was when this policy was changed, trump's tweet regarding it was:
"I am happy to inform all of the people living their Suburban Lifestyle Dream that you will no longer be bothered or financially hurt by having low income housing built in your neighborhood...
...Your housing prices will go up based on the market, and crime will go down. I have rescinded the Obama-Biden AFFH Rule. Enjoy!"

Which beyond being completely untrue regarding prices and market and crime... basically means that in his view, and that of his supporters, desegregation activities were threatening their "Suburban Lifestyle Dream"


And that's just the most recent policy change from literally 1 week or 2 ago.

Nonsense. Families were separated and children absolutely were separated from their parents under the Obama administration. Use Google or Bing and find an article from a site that you find the least objectionable. I believe the ACLU even sued the Obama admin for it in 2014 or 2015.

That's why I said generally.
I was having trouble getting specific uses, but it appeared to be a tool in place. Heck, Obama I think built the facilities or something.

But what I can understand is that it was not the same level of use (hell, politifact calls it false completely, but I don't buy that. The statements in their article indicate that it was still used to a lesser extent)

And here's the AP on it. The AP actually identifies the instances where the Obama administration may have actually separated children. But they also highlight the "zero tolerance policy" which required all illegal immigrants and sanctuary applicants to be separated
