Biden was also upset today when informed he could not choose his future running mate from Robinson Elementary girls gym class.

The longer the VEEP candidate stays in the basement the less bullets they have to dodge.

There won't be any VP buzz bump in the polls at this rate.

Announce Harris already and then try to dodge doing any debates.

There are no more pitbulls in the DNC anymore. Squatting to piss is all they got.

Agree with what you wrote, but things seem to be going well for Bidden as of now. We'll see if he flubs his pick (like McCain chose Sarah Palin). I bet he will...

If by not saying or doing anything means he's doing well...that's a bit of a problem. Jus' sayin'. The world isn't going to give him the "It's just Joe being Joe" once he formally accepts the party's nomination. EVERYONE knows the guy isn't very bright too.

As for the VP pick...he cemented himself down by announcing he HAD to pick a woman of color. So much for the "Best Person" for the job. If he gave a rip about winning he'd select Gabbard. That brings his rudderless ship back to the middle where it needs to be. Right now, he's floating in kooky waters where the support runs thin and common sense knows its treacherous waters. She's also the only sane person that was running on the DNC ticket. Just knowing that Hillary would smear her should've told voters all they needed to know.

Out of the 4 names I keep hearing, there is ZERO upside to any of them and LOTS of downside to them all in regards to turnout.

I agree.
But to be specific, Bidden only promised to pick a female, not a woman of color. And, that probably leaves Elizabeth Warren in the running. None of the women are good picks. Hell, I don't even know of any male democrats who'd be a good pick.

Hmmm.
I think what he might have been trying to say is women of color are also "on the list," otherwise women like Warren and Michigan's governor wouldn't be in the running. But, who knows... it's all f'd up anyway

He will choose a black woman in an attempt to shore up the black vote, which his handlers know he doesn't have locked.

since the first VP, you could win the bet the next one would be a white male, and only certain religious denominations.

I may be off one or two (all time!) but two women and one Jewish man?...
No announcement would have been news.

Hopefully in our lifetimes this stuff will be unremarkable.

I find it interesting that it doesn't matter what they do with what they have between their legs but it DOES matter what they have there. Gotta be a female.

As presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden spends this week at his home in Delaware, holding one-on-one meetings with roughly half-dozen contenders who have made his shortlist for running mate, a new report speculates that the former vice president has narrowed his choices to two candidates.

Those two, according to Biden confidants who spoke with Axios, are Sen. Kamala Harris of California and Susan Rice, who served as national security adviser and ambassador to the United Nations under President Obama's administration.

I've heard and seen estimates as low as 14% and as high as the mid-30% Black vote going to Trump. In contrast to the 6-8% that voted for him in 2016, it could be over already. Many I've talked to give him high praise for his "What have you got to lose, vote for me" Trump statement and actually doing something for them in contrast to the "You ain't Black" comments that just flow from his mouth!

here are the latest polls by Pewresearch:

the graph showing Black support for Trump doesn't come close to those numbers...not even double digits

https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2020/06/30/publics-mood-turns-grim-trump-trails-biden-on-most-personal-traits-major-issues/

if Trump wins...and that is a seriously miniscule "IF"...it will not be due to the Black vote

I'll bet a friendly fiver Trump gets more than10% of the black vote. As they see now what they have to loose.
Trump's been better for blacks then any president other than Lincoln.
Those who intend on government handouts will undoubtedly vote Dem in blind self deception aided by media/Hollyweird elites like Oprah and Whoopie who despite the truth of their American success peddle racist lies for the sake of failed socialist ideology out of guilt for living so well for so very little contribution to society
Most who work hard for honest $ will vote with clean conscience for the most qualified applicant. Despite offensive personal traits. Which in truth Biden is waaay more guilty of.
If Trump would've accused swan of being a junky it would've triggered the national alert system sirens

No Vic you don't. But if you do:
Fox, Rush, Tucker, Danesh, I could go on for miles but anyone who fears God.
There's the Crux again.
Keep taking your worldview from Hollyweird elites and woke pros who hate God and the truth that all men are created equal. You could just move to Venezuela ,Cuba or any other failed socialist state and see how you like it.
When the commies do get control the walls will be there to keep you in.

You only get your information from a person who in your opinion "fears god".

That's.... bad to begin with man. Real bad.

I don't believe I get my information from "hollywood elites"... I don't even know anymore where I get my information, I usually use a combination of an aggregator and videos of actual events occurring and being posted. But one thing is very different. You didn't really provide news sources. Tucker, Sousa, Rush... they primarily provide their opinion on things. Not actual information. I will not read or listen to anyone on either side who injects their personal views into news. That's not news.

Your choice to link "hate god and the truth that all men are created equal" is bizarre.... god has been used to specifically defend ideas that men are not equal. And to characterize a group as both not believing in god, but still having some belief in an in-equal creation shows your inability to look at things outside of a very specific lens.

The hyperbole around the democrats turning us into a failed socialist state is exactly what I'd expect from someone who listens too much to political opinion pieces. Very literally right now only a handful of countries would let us in with a US passport, and we are managing a pandemic worse than 3rd world countries like India and Brazil. I'm not sure what your definition of a "failed state" is, but someone telling you that another politician is going to create one while suggesting things are going great right now is probably lying to you.

Some fine points to consider Vic.
While my ability to communicate it may be wanting. My views are in line with the wisdom of Solomon
"Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people"
Or to quote someone who won't trigger Spey so badly-
70s rocker Alvin Lee
"Tax the rich, feed the poor 'till there are no rich no more.
Tell me where is sanity?"
For the answer to that question see the proverb above.
As I've said before my hope isn't in government so con or lib doesn't change much for my outlook. I'm fully pursuaded we're going to go from bad to worse either way without another great awakening. That's why I try to encourage faith.
Thanks for listening!

Well... we will likely go from bad to worse regardless.
Can't disagree with you there.
