Probably cigar moles. Sprinkle some grub killer on the cigars, the moles will leave once the grubs in the cigar are dead.

yes...many years ago...at the time, I smoked cigars ROTT...someone here suggested that I give the cigars more rest time in the humidor before smoking them and to slow down my pace of puffing...

that helped with most, but a few continued to have problems...I stopped buying those...

Alec Bradley Tempus, La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial are a couple I remember...not sure if those two margues have gotten any better over the years, tho

Like delta described...many eons ago I would smoke them as soon as they arrived. Had issues with tunneling & canoeing.

Got advice from here to let them rest a while. Very rare to have either happen anymore.
