...I think “this is a really good cigar. Why don’t I buy these more often?”

had the same experience with a G toro a couple of weeks ago...I like the MB3 line, the Melanio (both colors), the V, the O, the Connie, even the Gilberto Reserva lines...I have a few of a couple of these lines on hand and made a mental note, for when I get low...

don't care for the Saison, tho

Ditto on liking the G , the MV and the MB3s and not liking the Saison. O's are often found cheap and pretty good as well. I am not the biggest fan of most connies, the Olivas are not bad but there are others I like better if going that route

I haven’t bought an Oliva in a couple years...MB III Robusto to be exact...but there was a time when I bidded on almost every Serie G Maduro offering available. The Special G Maduro was once one of my favorite short smokes but rarely ash up petite coronas anymore (...learned to plan my smoking sessions better...).

One of my first real cigars (non infused) was an Oliva O maduro. I used to love those but probably haven't ashed one in over 2 years now. These post make me want to add to my already overflowing stock.

Agreed. Even their bundle smokes are good (w.r.t. inexpensive bundled smokes)

I'm partial to maduro wrappers but their corojo and regulars are good to (the gold is too mild for me).

The old Blue cloth O's....man, why did they ever stop making them??? The V series are still pretty nice, especially the lancero and no. 4. Remember picking up boxes of 36 lances for $99....good times.

Are the El Cobre still around? I remember I'd bought some and they really turned into great cigars after a few years of rest.

I've heard a lot of hate for the Gs. But I have a box that has been in the humi for at least 6 months that every time I have one, it's amazing.

And you can never go wrong with MB3s. Always keep a good stock of those.

On the other hand, I have found the Vs to never quite live up to their hype. Will try them again when the price is right, but usually seems these are a bit high for what you get.
