I didn't say it was morally correct, it's just the way people think it is.

Tell me, exactly, how you saw the P&Ls for each of his companies going back ten years?

Because if you didn't see them, you really don't have a basis to make that statement. That just makes you a card carrying member of the "Orange man bad" club.

Please.
I was born in New Jersey - I know a crook when I see one.

But to be fair, is there really any sufficient proof to put off a Trump minion?

Why is the IRS not fining him if this story was correct?

ummmm....because he's the Boss of the IRS and the Boss of the DOJ, who would be prosecuting, but he's the POTUS...

and he's gonna pardon himself before he walks out the door, so they'll never charge his cheating fraudulant lying azz...

let's see what happens in New York state court when he's not POTUS anymore...

IIRC from the article, his current, most significant tax dispute right now is the approximate $70 million refund he received. If he loses, he will have to pay over $100 million in principal, interest and penalties, unless he can cut a good deal in the matter,

I have a feeling most of his taxes are in line, maybe a few deductions get disallowed (can you have your daughter on salary AND pay her as a consultant?)...but that can happen to anyone with complicated returns.

The truth is he's been trying to hide his tax/income info not cuz he cheated, but because he doesn't want everyone to know he has been a failure in business, it's important to him to perpetuate the lie and his image.

Saved by the TV show and subsequent selling of his name/fame from it, but never won running his businesses...which has been pretty well known to anyone who has been aware of him and his M.O. over the decades.

Our POTUS made half a mil hawking Dominoes Pizza! Is four years too long to be a mini-series?
(should it be are four years...)?

and putting his brand on two pyramid scheme businesses, a scam University, bottled water, steaks...

Cohen testified that Trump used fraudulent valuations for his properties in his tax reports compared to the figures he used to obtain loans...could be criminal...

if a Dem did this stuff, all the Trump fan boys would be yelling "lock her up"

Mark Cuban was right when he ridiculed and mocked Trump's continuous boasts about being a brilliant businessman billionaire during the 2016 campaign

Bezos, or Amazon?

I do not own any Amazon stock but I believe they reinvest profits instead of paying out to shareholders.

No idea how much or if Bezos pays anything and would care a lot more if he was running for office.

But Trump has singled him/Amazon out repeatedly about taxes which became absolutely hysterically hypocritical this week.

was I accurate that they reinvest winnings rather than send you a check? I'm in over my head here on corporate taxes but until they actually take the profit it is not subject to tax...am I on the right track here?
Anyway, this is not relevant to compare to Trump's personal income taxes.

After Wallace carefully reworded the question that Trump's answer would be about personal federal income tax payment amount and gave him a second (third?) chance to clarify, Trump insisted he paid millions of dollars in the years being discussed.

Not $750.

just one lie among a whole trainload that he unleashed during the debate...

doesn't really matter to his base of supporters though...they've got his back regardless....pretty sure they were satisfied with his performance and would like more than anything in the world for him to win re-election ...and then work on a third and a fourth term...

the truth is that he prolly turned off the small number of undecided voters...many on NPR said they would not vote for Trump, but did not endorse Biden either
