Looking for recommendations for a sweet lighter cigar. In the past I have tried cigars with barrel aged notes or java and have liked those quite a bit. I have had my eye on the java mint cigar and ave maria lion heart. Thanks in advance!

I’d suggest vaping, I’ve read they have rainbow, cotton candy, and many other fufu yuppie flavors.

You might want to try some of the aromatic pipe tobaccos.
Just buy a few corn cob pipes for a few bucks, and off you go into fake flavor land.

Most of the Drew Estates Larutan line should be up your alley. Not flavored but have sweetened tips. Just the tip.

I still have two LGC Series R that definitely have sweetened tips, They are your if you like, although since the cigar is not supposed to have a sweet tip, I am not sure what the heck is on them...

my son said the same thing, thought the LGC R he got from CBid had sweetened tips...he wasn't that fond of the sweetener, but liked the blend...he got some more and that batch is not sweetened and said they aren't as good...

the Drew Estate Tabak Especial Cafe Con Leche is a good mild and sweet cigar...my son and SIL loved them when they started smoking cigars, preferring them over any of the Acids and Javas...next, they gravitated to the stronger medium bodied Drew Estate Naturals, like the English, Dirt and Juicy Lucy...

eventually, like most of us, they transitioned to traditional unflavored cigars

Nub Makes a line called Nuance. They have some flavor to them.

Drew Estates makes their Tabak line that has flavor to it.

The Java series you mentioned.

Also CAO has their flavors line.

Just a few that I can think of.

Man, I have been going kind of nuts trying to figure out if it was just me thinking they were sweetened. Glad to hear I am not the only one who got those. I really wonder WTF CBid is sending out with these. I mean, LGC is not sweetening the tips...

I am planning on tossing the remaining two I have with the sweetened tips. I just don't trust them.

Smoking an R now. Definitely sweetened tip. Removed and tasted cap. Grossly sweet. Recut. Cigar is better now.
Still tasting sweetener in smoke though. Cap was most but not all of it.
E. P. Carrillo would not have done it this way.

One of the very first premium cigars I bought (other than at 7-11 or the counter at a diner) was a Macanudo Maduro. The wrapper was almost black, but it smoke real smooth. Whatever you try, smoke it slow and have a tasty beverage on hand. You're not taking a 10 minute smoke break at work.

it's kinda scary at first exposing yourself to "full bodied" cigars.

Just forget the light **** and dive in. You will live. You will like.

Same here. This was the "breakthrough" real cigar for me.. it happened in a pool hall for a friend's bachelor party. I still have vivid memories of being at the pool hall shooting 9-ball with a Macanudo Maduro... but the strip club afterwards is a pretty foggy. It's probably best if those brain cells died off and put to rest.

I kinda remember another bachelor party for a friend a couple years later where I brought the cigars for the group. Again, just memory snapshots.. nothing that I can really stitch together as a full picture of the night. There was some strippers, some spankings, and skinny dipping in the pond doing the back float looking at the stars.
