Honestly Frank all the “bottom shelf stuff” is about the same imo.... I’ve just been having fun trying all the different crap that is out there. Also I don’t see paying a high dollar price for any Vodka for me it always end up being a mixer.

I wasn't disparaging you at all!
The American Kirkland is $12 for a 1.75 and more than good enough for any mixer...even works with a drop of vermouth for a martini.
The French Kirkland is $19 for a 1.75, supposedly Grey Goose private labeled, noticeably better in a martini but not too expensive for mixing. A little sweeter than the cheaper one but still pretty cheap itself.

ram27bat lol Frank, I never thought you were. Just explaining in a way why I’ve been drinking so many different brands of vodka. I use the “brands” loosely though, funny a few of them are from the same distillery....

Tanqueray Rangpur

Drank more of this over the last 2 months than in my entire life. Keto diet is making me really miss my stouts this time of year (did lose around 20 lbs though).

Nolet's G&T

Wifey used Schweppes Diet Tonic Water and I could immediately tell it was some sort of diet tonic water. She didn't know we had some Fever Tree in the outside refridge. d'oh!

Last night we went to our neighbor's house to celebrate his birthday. We got to talking about whiskey and he said he preferred gin. He got out a bottle of Hendrick's Lunar Gin. It did not give off a lot of smell, but when I tired a sip, wow, talk about some flavor!

He said his favorite gin is Monkey 47 but this is their summer house and he was out.

The same here, soda water mixed with a Jack Rudy's tonic syrup isn't too bad but ends up being tonic water. Fevertree makes some really tasty tonic water.
