Nobody spent any effort to win either of our votes. All effort is spent on voter registration and party turnout on Election Day.
I didn't claim the differential was large, just that there was a differential. Here's the logic... let's assume you and I vote without fail every election. Due to our participation here, I think that's a safe assumption.
If you always vote party line, and I don't, that means my vote is fixed in a sense that will happen, but it's variable. Because it can be flipped, it's ever slightly more valuable than yours.
