My name is Lee, and sometimes friends call me LeeBo. But that name was already taken. ram27bat

My wife makes fun of my $8 haircuts and says they make my head square like a robot, so LeeBot was born.

trying to remember if I I've answered this before. . .

Came up with the name when I was doing a lot of online poker. My brother in law had the name night chaser on poker games. In a similar fashion, wanting a name that tied in my illini roots, along with giving the image of being a "loose" luck based player I chose Illinichaser. I liked the name and have used it ever since, no matter the forum. BTW, anyone wanna get the cbid poker game going again?

I'm game.

Mine is easy enough. I'm Irish with family connections to the IRA and I'm a huge boxing fan. So Bomber refers to both:-) Dirty protestant traitors!

I think it's important to make sure everyone knows your name is pronounced like the basketball team. "Sell-tic Bomber"

I like AF cigars a lot & I love Hemingway novels, since most cigars come from the Spanish speaking world I went with ocho instead of 8. 8 being my favorite number and part of my birth year.

The inside joke here is that I write absolutely nothing like Hemingway. Most everything I write is a run on sentence or contains multiple thoughts / clarifications with commas or parentheses used liberally. I can’t for the life of me whittle down my writing to short sentences that say more than what’s written. Had to get sister to edit all my English papers in college and she’s a lawyer!

I wouldn't ban Victor. He's the only one around here who will put out without me having to take him camping or get him drunk first. Besides, I'd miss running my fingers through that beautiful head of hair.

Right on! ThumpUp

Hemingway & Hemingway fan here too.

My Junior year thesis in college was on “The Old Man and The Sea”. Used to always carry around my “The Complete Short Stories of Ernest Hemingway” with me and read it at the beach.

So what Fuente Hemingway is your favorite? I’m a big fan of the Best Seller Maduro.

The Old Man and The Sea has a depth of meaning that was totally lost on me in 8th grade or whenever I read it. It reads well at any age.

A Farewell to Arms is still my favorite work of his, but I’m over due revisiting them.

Hemingway short start natural & Work of Art Maduro are my favorites. Short story when I’m pressed for time & think the complexity of the Maduro is wasted on such a quick smoke. Work of Art Maduro as I favor big ring gauge and depth when I’m spending that amount of coin.

I smoke more 858s & especially RyJ 1875s than anything else though. The classics rarely disappoint & make the unique flavors & complexity’s of the finest cigars stand out all the more in comparison.

I revealed mine in my "introductory" thread: it's a play on Good Humor ice cream, but spelled like my last name. In retrospect, if I wanted to play off my name, it would have been a perfect opportunity for Hume-i-dor... Or something like that.

My initials are PW and I use the NATO phonetic alphabet a lot while talking on the phone and my email address is always [email protected] so somewhere along the line I started getting called Papa Whiskey and ran with it.

Bucky Badger (University of WI - Madison) with a couple numbers since someone else took the name Bucky.

Avatar is kinda a long story but in summary:

The F-u-ck 'Em Bucky image (Bucky Badger flipping the bird) was rather popular back in college and you'd see them on tee shirts and other paraphernalia around campus and sold at gift shops with the words "Fuc@ em Bucky also printed on the paraphernalia.

Then the University decided that it wasn't a good image to be displayed and cracked down on the local shops from selling them. The University tried to copy write/trademark the Bucky Badger image in the late 80's. It was a court battle that the University lost. Court determined that since the image of Bucky has been around since about 1940 in various formats and has never had copy rights or or been trademarked until the University tried to do so some 40 yrs later... The image of Bucky is considered public domain.

However, specific drawings and images can hold copyrights/trademarks by the artists or creators. Just a tweak on the "W" on his chest, or have him kicking a soccer ball or mooning the crowd or something and and you can apply to get your art work protected.

The generic Bucky is a free spirit... Bucky Badger, like a honey badger, don't give a $hit

It's from the word "active". A few close friends used to bust my nuts about not being active. So they'd direct the word "active" at me in a sarcastically abusive tone. Well, it got shortened and had and "r" attached to the end. This is like 45+ years ago. I don't think half the friends who called me that even knew what it meant.

Amen to that brother! I'm submitting one more request before I 10-22 my attempts.

Mopartoya: More Power To Ya, and even though I drive a Cummins, I'm a Ram/Mopar guy because I too believe and love the attitude that if you can make a supercharged 6.2L Hemi fit, then stuff it in there! So far they haven't turned the Challenger into a p.o.s. bastardized mini SUV EV like the "Mustang Mach E". While I know the Demon may be going away, I still feel there may be hope for humanity.

Regarding changing a forum handle.... can anyone guide me in the right direction to have it changed?

They already have plans to neuter their muscle cars like Ford did with the EV Gelding.
