More importantly, do you have a humidor for your humidifiers?

Humidifiers will work more efficiently and last longer if you put them in an environment that is closer to your target humidity. So in essence, you want a master humidor that can fit all of your humidifiers and humidors. And around the master humidor you want at least a ten foot insulated buffer zone. And ideally, you want to dig a tunnel beneath and have the entrance in the middle of the floor of the master humidor. And naturally, you want it sided inside and out with Spanish cedar. Until you have invested in and successfully completed this configuration, you are completely wasting your time in buying any more cigars.

Don't you dare spend another dime, you goddamn fools...

Although, I ran across a pretty good deal on a 6-pack of 320gm Boveda packs a couple months back and like them just as much.

Also, an RF thermometer/hygrometer so things can be monitored from your lounger while you smoke.

As mine is locked (grandkids and other interlopers) I had to once confront the need of a cigar while the key was misplaced. The obvious fix was to retro fit the door with explosive bolts....

I know I'm in the minority here, but f**k beads. I've tried beads, kept f**king with them for months on end, and ended up going back to old school green foam humidifiers. For small/travel humidors, I use those water pillow thingies. Those things are pretty cool.

^ if you want 100% humidification that's the way to go.
But why not just put a bowl of water in there?

Me I like thunderstorms in my humidors. So 62% on top 69% on bottom. So, yeah beads & Bovedas.

been doing Heartfelt beads (65RH) and Boveda (69RH) in all my humidors and tupperdors for the past few years...most of my hygrometers were reading high 50's - low 60's , which I thought was kinda low, but the cigars were smoking great, so I just kept the beds wet...

did a re-calibration with a wet salt test...almost all the hygrometers were reading 5-7 RH below 75

guess it's better to trust the Heartfelt beads and Bovedas and ignore the cheap hygrometers...

I use boveda, so easy and barely takes up room, recharging is easy. I use a wineador (18 bottle size).

I use a mixture of Boveda 69% (60g and 320g) and those HUMI-CARE HX10 Rectangles. The latter has beads in them. Very low maintenance in my one NewAir CC-100H and multiple tupperdors. In fact one 320g 69% Boveda will keep you around 65-67% humidity @70-75F in a full 60qt WeatherShield storage container (around 300-400 sticks). One of these should last you years if you are not in and out the tupperdor a lot.

Has anyone tried the heartfelt tubes. I’m using the 320 gram boveda at the moment. I ordered an audew 300 count cabinet though to keep my best stuff in. Looking for hassle free
I believe the tubes are loaded with the beads.

I’m using a 74 quart iris at the moment if that matters

Let me know what you think of the Audew, I have one in my Amazon cart that I think I’m going to pull the trigger on. I also use the 320 gram bovedas. I love them. I use the 69% in my tight humidors, and a 72% in one of the humidors that seems to enjoy letting humidity escape.

My audew just literally came today. I have it seasoning now
I’m still brainstorming how I’m going to set up the humidifiers.
I have 69 large bovedas and hx 10 humicare with the beads in them. I’m trying to keep it super low maintenance
Clint cigar if you have any pointers as to using them together or individual any advice would be added to my brainstorm mess.

I have two desktop humidors I use. I’m pretty certain I’m going to get to a point where they are just decoration.

I do a combination of beads/tubes and bovedas. My theory being the bovedas soak up any excess moisture after I moisturize the tubes and carry me through if I let the tubes go too long. Bovedas and beads are all 65%. Tried 69% to start but didn't like how cigars were burning. Go with whatever works best for you but I would be cautious with the 72%. That's a little high in my opinion.
