Just for the consult. It's had an apicoectomy decades ago and a root canal. It started leaking again. I had my dentist drain it and I've been draining it myself (they don't know that) once or twice a week.

Another apicoectomy is a possibility but no guarantee. A bridge is out of the question. So I think it's going to be implant. But it's not a matter of just pulling the tooth, it would require socket restoration.

But yes.... earliest available is March 1.

There is no data on preggo women and the vaccine. For some reason they have had bad things happen with the virus and pregnancies so they went all in on the vax with no data. Don't blame them and cant judge them but it is something to watch for sure.

And we are watching and talking to them.

My regular dentist making the referral knows it. The endodontist that originally drained it doesn’t nor does the new endo that will do the extraction and implant. I did tell the new endow it’s filling up. They just said have the dentist drain it.

I went back to my referring dentist and told them the earliest I can get in is March 1. I dunno. It is what it is unless my dentist can convince them.

I’ve been using a glucose finger stick to drain it. Hurts like hell but at least it’s sterile.
