Part of his concession statement Brindidi stated:

“Unfortunately, this election and counting process was riddled with errors, inconsistencies and systematic violations of state and federal election laws.”

Interesting considering his statement in 2020 that President Trump's statement that “2020 will be the most inaccurate and fraudulent election in history” is unsubstantiated.

“There is no evidence of widespread fraud from mail-in voting, and I am confident our state and local officials will put on a safe and fair election this November,” the first-term congressman said.

Well I guess things changed when you lost. Go work in a green energy job.

Lawyers for Brindisi had called for a hand recount of the 325,000-plus votes cast in the House race, arguing that irregularities with voting machines used in Oswego County had undercounted hundreds or thousands of votes for Brindisi.

Marc Elias, a prominent Democratic election lawyer, made the claim about the voting machines in a court filing Feb. 1. Republicans were widely criticized following the presidential election for claiming that voting machines switched votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden.

Elias is best known for his role in commissioning the infamous Steele dossier during the 2016 election. Elias hired opposition research firm Fusion GPS on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, which his firm, Perkins Coie, jointly represented.
