I don't know about you guys?

But whenever my HEATING SYSTEM WENT
"ER ES KAPUT"and after 24 hrs of no heat , I did the following...I SCHWanzzzeeeddd on down to the basement....turned off the water main...

And then I turned on every spigot hot and cold in the entire HUT... Then I tried figure out how to stay warm..

It depended on what type of heat I had , if I had a natural gas fireplace or not,
A generator...etc...

Now...if your a grub who never owned a HUT AND RENTED YOUR ENTIRE LIFE AND LIVED IN AN APARTMENT complex or highrise apt....
Then you have an " I'm ignorrant " excuse..

Anybody else??

Moron's don't know that water freezes, they do know how to smoke a pipe.

Without heat a home water system can still freeze and burst.................especially when the home is built for winters that rarely experience a hard freeze much less below zero temps.I did plan for these type situations durely the remodel...a gas stove top in an island,that 20k btu middle burner will put out the heat.


BTW we do very few basements here in Texas
