I didn't watch Flash Arrow or Jessica Jones, but I did watch Daredevil... I was surprised how good that show was. It was super bloody and violent. =d>

I just finished watching the Phantom of the Opera (the movie) for free on youtube of all places...
Emmy Rossum was an Athenian goddess in that movie ... yum!

Star Trek - Discovery

FINALLY a spinoff of the original that's as good if not better because of CGI.

Binge watched these back in the 2000-teens. The series was on STARZ (2010-2013).

Spartacus - Blood and Sand (Season 1)
Sparatcus - Vengence (Season 2)
Spartacus - War of the Damned (Season 3)
Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (Prequel)

I found them in the torrent forest but they may be streaming somewhere (HULU, STARZ, Amazon Prime, Netflix?).

Caution: Lots of blood, guts, and full frontal nudity from both genders (it's a gladiator show after all).

Took me a couple days, but mostly due to the disapproving looks Mrs. Beach was throwing my way

Thought it was 30 pieces of silver the Sanhedrin paid Judas for his kiss?

Just started season 7 of Game of Thrones. I was really digging the first 3 or 4 seasons, then it started to get melodramatic, Hollywood-ie and a bit corny. Maybe that's why I stopped watching way back when. I'm gonna plow through the remaining seasons since there's still some stories to follow.

Peaked into Billionaire (from one of youze guys suggested somewhere above) watched 2 episodes and it sparked my interest. Prolly jump into that after GoT.

That's out. I hate reading subtitles through large portions of the show.

Watched most of the seasons of Narcos on Netflix (?). It was good but it drew to a halt for me after a couple seasons because half of it is subtitles. If you speak/understand Spanish it's probably better. I don't speak a lick of Spanish and I hate staring at the bottom of the screen reading subtitles.

Netflix has an option to change subtitles to dubbed in English. Maybe its not an option for all programs, but that's how I made it through Ares. Subs are a hard stop for me since Mrs. Beach demands to know what's going on but doesn't usually wear her glasses watching TV

I used to feel the exact same way, until we had my son. Watching tv with the volume really low and subtitles on is the only way we can watch tv while he’s napping. Also makes the pioneer receiver and surround sound completely useless. Haven’t turned it on in a year and a half.

The Prize: The Prize: An Epic Quest for Oil, Money, and Power

On Amazon Prime
Based on Daniel Yergin's Pulitzer Prize-winning book and narrated by award-winning actor Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games), The Prize is an exciting and entertaining eight-part series that captures the fascinating stories behind the global hunt for oil.

The business and politics (one can't exist without the other) of black gold. Good old fashioned documentary and a good watch. I'm about half way through it. The business of oil, how it shaped politics, domestic and foreign relations, created countries, regions, wars, economies...

Started a series on Frank Sinatra tonight. Performed for 60 years. Bet Tommy Dorsey wished he could have gotten 33.3% of Frank’s take for the rest of Frank’s life like he wanted in 1942. Of course Dorsey was dead by 1954.

Just started Turn. About halfway through the first season and I'm hooked. This will be my binge for a while.

One thing that I can't get past is that one of the main antagonists of the series has a eerie resemblance to you. You just need the powdered wig.
