So that Oliva auction closed.

https://www.cigarbid.com...maduro-torpedo/3611896/

Says the winning bid was $4500. If that were my mistake, I would have been on hold with CS for 8 hours so I could correct that mess.

Thanks, I wasn't looking for a freebie. Just wanted to pick one or two up at the usual CBid massive discount, but that guy buys in bulk here and sells on ebay, so the prices are never scary low on the Xikar stuff.

My extras are nothing fancy, no Xihar stuff. Maybe he'll end up with too many in stock and finally give everyone else a chance.

Benja, I didn't intend to come across as ungrateful, that was a very kind gesture.

Baseman, good to know he is consistent.

He probably thought he was bidding on a 5 pack.

I did this a few weeks ago. Doing three things at once on the computer, saw a cigar that I think is mediocre, but it was cheap for a 5 pack, so I thought "why not, it's worth that," But it was a singles auction, so instead of a cheap 5 pack, I overpaid for a single I didn't even want that much.

I mean, WP seems to know what a great cigar is, but is WAY overestimating the retail valuation on LaDC....
