If you gave up on the United States, and why? I put this in politics because politics play a large part in my question. So does quality of life.

Hard to imiguine this scenario, but it would probably be New Zealand. When I was younger it would be to live on some isolated islands off Scotland that want new residents, too dang cold now.

US needs a ton of work IMO but its still the best country in the world

ive gone through this exercise multiple times but couldnt find anywhere that i felt matched the freedoms, prosperity, climate, etc

I've visited 15+ different countries. If it was just me... probably somewhere the fishing is awesome. Costa Rica. Panama. Thailand.

Wife doesn't even want to go back to live in the Philippines... she's been here longer. I'd go back there, but it'd have to be somewhere off the beaten path.

I'd have to agree, even with all our problems, the freedoms and the safety here in the USA is still preferable. For now.

Switzerland but the cold could be an issue.

Wife has a newfound affinity for Mediterranean climates. This opens the door for Australia, Chile, and Argentina in the Southern Hemisphere. Haven't scouted them though.

Do NOT go to Australia... imagine dealing with SJW's with a funny accent that are worse than ours and spiders that give you the finger as they drag family members off into the bushes. There's also the babies to think about... Dingo's man. Dingo's. 'nuff said.

I'd choose Iceland. The chicks are easy and plenty of volcano's to ditch the bodies. Imagine, never having to dig a hole ever again.

I have a close friend that packed it up and is now in Ecuador.

I'd probably go there or Roatan, Honduras...maybe Panama...Costa Rica is nice too.
