Try me method. You will win every time for low prices!
Step 1. Set your max budget for the week.
step 2. Place bids on lots for what you would consider a great price.
Step 3. Bid until you are 3 times over your limit.
step 4. Hope like hell you loose!
Step 5. Now that you have won all items, buy new cooler and set up cot in garage!
works for me every time! I would have the wife back me up on this but it seems she not speaking to me agian. LOL

I win great deals is when my wife sees me at the computer and says,
"I hope you are not bidding on anything!"

I reply, "Honey my bids are so low I can't possibly win anything." (and they really are)

I win everytime....

I have asked her now to say that for luck everytime....She made it apparent that she wasn't willing to help me...LOL

Rugrunner- you hit this week right on the head. I got a little bid crazy. Plus, bought another box on a different site, and visited my local yesterday. I just went over the budget for the month.......... of June.

Sinking feeling.

It reminds me of going out in college. You had a great time, but when you see what you woke up next to, you wonder 'what the hell was I thinking'.

.. is this a cold sore?

Bid close is 5 minutes after the last bid, not a set time.

It's easy to win a bid everytime. Just spend more money than the next guy. Whats the problem here????

What screw said ...

The value I place on the smokes I desire is what drives my bidding. If my desire for the smokes is of more value than the amount at bid at the moment, I'm going for the smokes. On the other hand if my wallet is more important to me (ie. wife, my hunger, mortgage pmt, car pmt, Trip to Vegas, etc. ... ad infinitum) then the smokes go to the previous high-bidder, as my values dictate the importance of the bid.

I would be foolish to not factor in the retail price, CI Price, other vendors, what I bid before on the same item, etc. but the bottom line is, "do I want those smokes or don't I"? If "yes," I'll outbid, it's that simple.

I sometimes skip step one which obviates the need for step 3 ... and find there's no need for a cot in the garage when there's a comforable couch in the living room ... otherwise, been there & done that.

They are your predacessors.

Bow, for they're bad deals were better than yours. You must bid... higher and higher, for losing is a sign of weakness...

You're not weak are you?

Don't you want threads of infamy about you? Like that one idiot who jacked up those singles of ghurkas that one time... or that 120 dollar tatuaje... yeah.

Bid strong!!!
