What's the box code on the bottom of the box? Should be two sets of 3 digits.

Thanks.

Please double check the box with 128 043, doesn’t seem right.

With a search of the Internet...it seems that the last three digits correspond to a year. The guess is 1980 plus the last three digits. So....095 034 should equate to roughly 2014. That is why the 043 didn't "add up"...it would have been produced 2 years in the future.

This has never been confirmed by Fuente, however

Josh from Tampa Sweethearts and Liana Fuente herself have said that The number on the box correlates to the specific inspectors and department/factory the cigars were hand rolled in but they have nothing to do with the date rolled or boxed.

That’s one thing I really like about pepin line of cigars. There’s a date right on them. Wish more manufacturers did this. Not that I care too much about it. Just kinda cool

100% agree, Padron at least puts a dated inspection slip inside each box but better if it was outside on the box itself or better yet on the label. i guess that means changing the label constantly so added cost though.

Still up for a Box of 858 trade for other stuff if anyone is interested. Not looking for 100% value or stick for stick trade. almost any reasonable offer would be considered.

We might be able to work something out, Shoot me a PM if really interested with an offer. Drop shipping a trade straight from an online vendor would also be an option.

i have 1 box of Natural and 1 box of Maduro so make sure to let me know which you are interested in if not both.

Please note that while nothing against you personally, we have a good faith system based on trade cred around here. since you are new around here and are an unknown entity i would need to receive whatever the deal is first prior to shipping yours out to you.

Absolutely! Also feeds my new AF obsession. Just today I picked up a box of natural Short Stories and have a box of Signatures on their way to me. The BM I went to today didn't have a box of the 858 sun grown you mentioned once Conan but I was able to grab a few to test and now I'm on the hunt for those too.

I just went back and looked at your post a while back and you liked the hemi sungrown but this 858 sun grown is excellent as well. Give it a try if you haven't already. Oh and Conan if you ever feel like doing some AF inventory thinning please let me know. ThanksSmile

Hahahahahahahaha! You’re joking, right? Laugh

Have thought of doing some thinning but that was only to help fund my purchase of a high end integrated amplifier. However, that urge passed after blasting my speakers with my current receiver and decided that that volume level was better left in my youth.
