Dog was an angel...

1450 miles in 26 hrs with a 3 hour nap in Walmart parking lot. Unloading the car in this altitude is always a chore. Now a drink or 3 before I pass out at 7 or so

Got it... mums the word on the wife. Take your time. Bodies are easier to move after rigor mortis sets in. Less flopping of appendages.

Deer aren’t as bad as they used to be. Freaking Turkeys are out of control. Ruined our rail fence last year because our neighbors kept feeding them and they used our yard to **** and roost...Brick wall

Nice you can still make the trip with her. You invest the time well.

I would never leave my mom at a rest stop. That’s shameful.

Classier move would at a bus stop.

........& so it begins.......again...

Got a late start this year because my 30th wedding anniversary was last week! Decided it was a good idea to hang around for, seeing as how I’ll be away from the wife for the next 3 months.

Was touch and go whether we were going to make it this year. Mom had a couple health issues, but her doctorS gave her the okay to head out! We will always have the private jet on standby to whisk her back to Texas if needed!! Liar

Wish us (me) luck! Beer

Good luck, buddy.

Looking forward to my road trip east next month. I think. Maybe not driving while gas is a million dollars a tank or while it's really fuggin hot and humid, but certainly leaving the PROT. (people's republic of Taxifornia)
