He wants his deck resurfaced. I told him to far for me.

any carpenter looking for work must be the worst...in these times.
Times like these are when people can't wait and get screwed by "contractors"... and then legit guys get hurt by local tightening of permits/standards/licenses etc.

Yep, this is why I'm about to become a sub code official.
Instead of working for a living I'll judge others work for a living.
I've always said I'll do what I do till I find an easier way to make more money.

This is it in spades!

Can't wait to show up on some of my peers job sites & red sticker their azz's for shoddy work!
