I've always assumed that cigars in the full body category were the strongest/most potent in terms of giving a buzz, whereas mellow/light provided not buzz at all, if any. While buzz isn't the only thing I look for in a cigar, it is a big one, so I've always stuck to smoking cigars on the full body end of the spectrum. A friend told me that there's more to it than just the profile, that how a cigar is treated also plays a role, and that "mild" cigars could pack a punch too.
Is there any truth to this? What about cigars makes them pack a big buzz? Is it all in the profile, or is there more to it? Which cigar types/brands have you found to be the most potent?
EDIT: first post here! Been a CB customer for more than five years, but never really checked out its forum section before now. Get you some Tatuaje Faustos, JDN Dark Antanios, LFD Double Ligero. There you go... a few cigars that will destroy your taste buds.
