Requests: in addition to a thank-you:

Also, if you wanted to send another box, the boys here would appreciate Copenhagen mint like you sent, and wintergreen, and straight cut. Those are
all ones that the exchange here ran out of and has been out of for a long time!

Greeting all - I'm getting emails and texts from my Troops in droves. They are locked down until further notice, and they're desperate for cigars as it's some of the only entertainment they're getting.

I'm out of cutters and humi-pads, if anyone could donate those things that would be fabulous. Also, cigars, socks, snacks, protein bars and everything else is appreciated, too.

I have 12 jars of Prickly Pear jelly left, if anyone would like to donate for jelly! Please PM me or text me at the number below, regarding jelly.

I'm working from home these days, and have directed my employees to do the same, so you should ship to my home address instead of my office.

My cell is (505) then, four-five-zero- 28 - eighteen (hopefully that will kill the bots from picking up the number to auto-dial me. For those of you sending mustache pics via text to cheer me up - please do.)

Thanks and be well, -B

I hate to beg...but I really need some assistance to keep sending cigars to the troops right now.

The #1 need is Humi-Care portable humidification pillows, preferably in the 10-pack. C-Bid used to send them to me from time to time, but I think Trish must not be there anymore, or maybe the donation policy changed.

It's 110 degrees right now in the sand-box, and sending cigars without a couple of humi-pillows in each bag or box of cigars would be like sending the guys and gals a box of sawdust.

Each troop box requires 6-8 individual humi-pillows, or some other portable humidification, and I send 6-10 boxes per month - so you can see this adds up quickly!

If anyone has humi-pillows or similar for shipping cigars to the troops, I'd greatly appreciate it. I also always need cigars, snacks like protein bars, jerky, and candy (no chocolate this time of year), as well as powdered drink mix. The guys also ask for dip and cigarettes. Any help is appreciated.

I have a some jars of Prickly Pear Jelly left, for those who would like to donate and receive jelly. Thanks, -B

PM me, or just send to:

I'm guessing that you use the ~70% RH packs. What size humi packs do you typically use?

These little pillows or larger sized ones?

That's what I thought. I'll have some drop shipped to her. Found some at another site for about 50% of what the mother-ship is asking.

Beth, expect some pillows from that rain forest place - estimated delivery on Thurs 6/11/2020.

Beth
I have a bunch of powdered drink mixes I can send https://builtbar.com/pages/boost
along with a dozen or so Cafe coolers citrus melon/hibiscus grape powder drink packs
Also have a box of Rosa Cuba Reserve Toros and a dozen singles I can toss in along with a few Boveda packs
Unfortunately all my protein bars are choc covered ( or cacoa ) and subject to melting so I'll save those for winter mailings
Can probably round up some candy to fill out the box
try to send by Monday

Thanks not just from me, but from the troops.

I received your care package yesterday. I wanted to correspond with you to tell you know the impact. Your generosity was overwhelming with what you sent, thank you. You should be happy to know that the cigars were dispersed last evening. There were no less than 15 satisfied and thankful Soldiers because of you. With everything still shut down combined with the 110 degree temperatures there is not much to bring smiles upon the faces of Soldiers. You should be happy you were able to break that cycle. Once again I thank you for my and other Soldiers.

Respectfully,

HENRY TEPLICKI

Beth,

Thank you so much for the cigars and pipe tobacco. You must have been reading my mind. The guys all looked like hungry wolves diving into package. Had to beat them back with a stick. LOL. We will send you the photos later of the guys after they turn peaceable. Thanks again.

May G-d bless you all with all the blessings in the Bible and much more. Your support throughout this Combat Deployment has played a tremendous and critical role in keeping our Paratroopers morale and motivation at peak while we were performing our missions in Afghanistan keeping our oath to our Great nation to Defend and Support the United Constitution, and our mission to keep America safe and protect American way of life for all Americans.

Beth, As always your boxes are amazing. It just arrived today. Not sure if it makes a difference or not to the amount of support you can provide but we have a cigar night every Saturday for our local cigar group. We usually have about 25 Soldiers that come out. It’s a great event that brings not only US Forces but other nations Soldiers. We get to enjoy a cigar and learn from each other and relax. Can't wait to share with the cigar club. We meet every Friday and Saturday night here. Thanks again.

SFC Oxford John

Thank-you for your support, and please continue to remember our troops with donations. PM me to send items to me to go directly to the troops.

A big box arrived for the Troops from Oak Forest (I don't want to use anyone's real name here, you know who you are) - it was sent on November 21st, but didn't get here until December 21st! And it was shipped 2-3 day priority mail. Whoof!!

Thanks so much for the generous package - please PM me if you'd like Prickly Pear Jelly and/or need an IRS donation letter. Thanks again!! -B

As things are opening up for us here, please remember our Troops who have been over there working, no matter what the conditions. Always needed: Cigars, dip, candy, jerky, Slim Jim's (I hesitate to call that jerky, or even food, but the guys love them), protein bars, powdered drink mix, gum, paperback books, playing cards, and candy.

I want to thanks you for your support and acknowledge your kind gesture

I wanted to say thank you for the care package! I received it today, and it
was awesome! It'll definitely keep morale up and help create comradery
within our unit while sharing stories over cigars.

The chewing tobacco was also a nice touch and the Soldiers that use it were
very excited to get it, so thank you again.

Believe it or not, I'm still alive and kicking here in NM. I'm getting more troop requests that I can personally fund, so I thought I'd give a shout out to any of you who might want to contribute. I'm also going to post the Troop notes of appreciation here, too, instead of having two separate threads that don't get topped very often. PM me here or email ABQBetty AT Gmail if you need my address/cell or have questions or want to ask about Prickly Pear Jelly that's available (or what to talk dirty....Shame on you Shame on you Shame on you or whatever).

Repeat Requests:
Coyote Brown THORLO thick padded combat over-the-calf socks (sizes M, L & XL)
Dip - Esp. Copenhagen Wintergreen, which seems to be the most requested
Slim Jims
Protein bars

Thanks from Troops who received OpFTH boxes from me:

(April '19)

(From 2018, but I don't think I posted it at the time)

Good morning Beth, I was given your business card and information to request a care package.
The card says that you all send cigars and other goodies...that sounds
amazing! I would definitely be interested in receiving something like that

I get requests like this every few days - these were all just from this week! Please help OpFTH respond to these requests! (I remove all deployment, address and personal information for current troops).

PM me for info where to send cigars, dip, pipe tobaccos, pipes, accessories, and other goodies to the troops. Thanks! -B
