Quick question, Gents:

Anyone had a MBIII recently for an everyday type cigar? Not a huge fan of the box press, but like Oliva a lot (the V maduro especially). Thinking of grabbing some. Haven't had one of these in a long time and can't really recall it. Awhile back these were pretty highly thought of. Thanks in advance.....

I still like em. Quite a bit. The longer they rest in my opinion the more you catch some different flavors going on in them. If you like strong Nicaragua with a long finish I think they’re a hella deal

I have no palate. But that’s my opinion. I’ve got a few boxes. One I specifically put down to try several years from now

I heard the OMB IV will be better, so I am holding out.

I like the 3's. I've smoked quite a few of them. I agree that the longer they cure in the humidor, the better they get. I also prefer the Rubusto to the Torpedo or the Churchill.

Just because they may get better doesn't mean they won't smoke now, I like them.

Good point, sticks. They're good to smoke the first day you get them, or they're good to smoke 100 days later.

Amazing, after all these years, the MB3 is still available.

Thought it was a limited production.

I buy them and smoke the ROTT.

They're good. I like the torpedos.

The 20-cigar MBIII sampler-bundle you can find here in free-fall are the best deal around for these anywhere that I can find right now. The old MBIII place still has them, but even on sale, they are more expensive than what you can get them for here, especially if you - like I do - wait until I have several things I want to get to combine shipping.

Noticed the sampler comes up a lot on their Tues Power Hour delay. Usually about $69. Not sure how that compares with the freefall

Got the sampler on FF for $57.98 several months ago, might not be going that low now, not sure.

The MB isn't bad, I usually find the Churchills which seem to be the best at a big discount. Nowhere near as good as Melanio Maduro's however. Those sticks in the same size are fantastic.
