Thanks for the offer, though I have more than enough. I only buy a few wines through the secondary market. Mature vintage ports. Red Burgundy occasionally if I did not buy enough.

No way the wife and I will ever drink our 1996 bottles. It's going for $1500 on some sites now so I'm going to look at auction houses again. Sold some of it 6 years ago at $800 and thought we did well.

We started something new this year. The 12 wines of Christmas. It has been fun and something to look forward to. We started with a few days of Rioja's, moved to a few days of special wines, and will finish with wines from the west coast.

Plumpjack is owned by Gavin Newsom. I would pour that down the drain!

Meh. You probably would. We didn't buy the wine knowing the owner but Aaron Miller is a talented winemaker and the wine was delicious.

To be consistent maybe you should move out of Cali?

Nope. Not supporting Gavin’s wines. I got 1200 others in Napa and Sonoma to chose instead.

Awesome as always. The daughter is hooked on Pinot so it was her pick. (Actually she’s hooked on good expensive pinot).

55/55 in the Vinotemp. Bought a couple of cases of this cab in 1994 at $12 range. We drank most of it early 2000s but a few were left.
