I think I might have underestimated Corey's detective skills...seems he figured out his Secret Santa pretty quickly. My blabber mouthing on the Whatcha Smoking thread was also badly timed...

You're welcome, Brother! Hope you and Jessica enjoy those little treats, and that some of those cigars hit a few spots.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your loved ones!

In the words of our youngest child “ Dad, you are in deep do-do”. Last week there was a scattering of packages from different vendors. All untraceable as they were sent directly from a vendor. Some contained a “ from your Secret Santa” message. A draw poker and some Xikar butane. Friday comes and there are two packages waiting on me - a beautiful Scorth Torch and a SFR box with a familiar return address from Florida but a mailing zip code from Alaska. Hhmmmm. I’ve seen that combination before. Five boxes of mayhem last Christmas that left me looking for a renovation contractor. So I figured that our friend from Alaska was up to his old tricks…Nice selection of cigars Dave.but noooooo! I opened the door today to take the dog for a walk and I tripped over two boxes with a Santa return address but mailed from a Georgia zip code. Yes, I believe I am in deep do-do. In hindsight I believe I have been the target of multiple coordinated air strikes. I don’t know who is the Team Captain, but they are coordinating an incredible offensive strike. Nick Saban and Kirby Smart got nothing on you. Something also tells me this is not over. Ya’ll are too kind. This old FOG is humbled by your kindness. Thank you. Merry Christmas. I promise to provide a full update from the Holiday Inn Express as there is no porch, home, dock or yard left. Only smoldering charcoal.

Well, Got around to opening the package that was delivered Friday. No Clue that i could pick out really, Just 10 Nice sticks and an note that read my name and mentioned No ligero with the three size cigars i prefer which i assume was taken from my entry notice about likes/dislikes. The only clues i had to go on were postage related. similar to madspakler above the address on the box was from Florida but the actual postage paid was from Alaska so my only guess at this point is AKdave? List of Sticks below.

Havana Soul, toro NH
romeo y julieta reserve, toro NH
Oliva Serie V, belicosa - Had many of these and love everyone
Alec Bradley Tempus Nicaragua, toro - Had one once before but don't remember so looking forward to the reminder
601 Green Oscuro, Robusto? Had many others from the brand but never the Green
my father la antiguedad, Corona Grande - One of my favorite sticks, gonna make sure i save this one to enjoy without interruption.
1502 Blue Sapphire, Lancero NH, my fave Vitola so looking forward to trying this one out.
Rojas KSG, Lancero NH, my fave Vitola so looking forward to trying this one out.
Bolivar Boxpress, Cuban? Corona? NH,
Cuban Cohiba, Corona? Ive had many different Cohibas but not sure I've had this vitola but, always a welcome smoke in my Humidor.

Thanks Dave! and if not then Thanks Santa!! All will be thoroughly enjoyed as it adds some Varity into my rotation that i have been lacking recently.

SS PSA:
Just to clear up some SS guessing confusion, the SFRs (possibly from a Tim K and possibly with a Florida address, and possibly originating in AK) stand a good chance of being a generous RAOK and a red herring for guessing Santa identity.

Southern draw jacobs ladder “top rung” lancero. I’m a little excited about this one. I’ve had the jacobs ladder in toro and I liked it a lot.
I like lanceros a lot but only when I’m in that mood. I keep quite a few lanceros around. I’ve heard this one is killer so looking forward to it

Sorry guys been swamped with my full time job and my side business at home is keeping me pretty busy as well.
Throw in 2 little girls and family life , it gets hectic pretty quickly.

I didn't have time to itemize everything but here is a few pics ... The first two are the SS hit and the 3rd is what this Mysterious Tim K hit me with today..... I'm pretty sure I know who he is bc there's one specific cigar he sent that is a store exclusive that is my Shpo lol and I'm pretty sure I sent him a few.

As far as my guess on my SS I don't have a clue yet... need to look at the contents again to see if there's a hint I missed!

Thanks Santa ...Awesome Hit!!

My official Secret Santa package arrived today. I am humbled. Truly.

I will post the list tomorrow because I need to type it on the computer rather than the iPad. Highlights……49 cigars plus booze, treats, and other goodies. I know 100% who it is.

My Secret Santa slipped up on my front deck very quietly sometime yesterday. Found a package hiding behind a potted plant when I went out to warm up my van for work this morning. I will try to open it carefully tonight to try and limit the damages.... Thank you to my Secret Santa I'll post contents tonight.

Well, Mailman acted as an accessory to a serious bomb drop today! Damage was done and i will now use the contents while recovering. Damage and link to pic below.

Something to eat...
Box of Liquor filled chocolate bottles these will be perfect for a little Christmas eve sweetness while watching White Christmas which is a Christmas eve tradition in out house.

Something to Drink...
Jefferson's Small Batch Bourbon (good everyday drinker and this will replace my almost empty bottle. not sure if mu SS saw me post about it in the what you drinking thread or just coincidence)

Something to Smoke...
4x AF Hemingway Work of Art Short Story esq Figurado - big fan of the Short Story and Fuente in general so cant wait to try these out
1x Oliva Serie G 3.75X48 Figurado, its soooo cuuuuute! great little dog walker for these colder months
AND the BIGUN - Tatuaje Monster Mash Coffin shaped 14 Cigar Sampler Box (2021 edition i believe) Ive never had any of these and have eyed this box since it came out but could never pull the trigger so a big THANKYOU to my SS!!!

Something to think about...
the remaining items i believe are meant to serve as my "Clue"
2x 20 Euro Cent Coins
1x Lt. COLONEL/05 coin
1x Air Force logo Shot Glass

This required a little sleuthing on my part as i don't know many of you beyond brief exchanges on the forums. The only Participating Member i am aware of with a Service Background in the AF is Stinger 88 with his retire status he certainly put in the years to earn the 05 Rank, I have no idea what the 2 Euro Coins are supposed to be telling me but i assume Stinger served in Europe at some point?

I may be off base (pun intended) here but that is my guess until i am told otherwise, Either way it is a great hit from whoever sent it and i think you for making my first CBID SS a pleasant experience. Hopefully my gift lives up to what i received in the eyes of its recipient.

First off Santa left me a bottle of Elijah Craig small batch I really enjoy a good bourbon. Fine choice Santa. I usually drink makers mark Cause it’s pretty good n cheapish. I have had this one. I fuggin like it awesome I like whiskey

Next up a Russian imperial stout. From bells brewery out in Michigan
This here is a mans beer. I’m working at it. 13.4%. Rugged. Delicious. I’m already drinking it. Lol

Next we’ve got a bottle of sauce Smoking Romeo Peach it’s a habanero peach sauce. Looking forward to it. I like peppers and peaches just never had them together. I don’t collect hot sauces but I prolly have 10 bottles to be used. Love it. Way cool

Also a Washington capitals coffee travel cup. Dig it. I love the caps. I’m gonna wash it up and it’s going to be my go to I always wash new cups and plates and stuff. I’m funny like that. Dope!

Now for some smokes. Might need a little help on the ID

X2 20 acre farm robusto. I think these are the new drew estates smokes?? I’ve heard of them but never had and wasn’t paying complete attention when I read of them
X2 partagas serie D #4
Illusione 888 believe this is a toro. I like these. Very good stick
Viaja oro I’m calling this a Churchill. Just had one of these I scored in trade from delta. Made me think this hit was from delta. But after more pondering I dont believe so love this one
Tatuaje monster olive green band red/orange trim. Never had any of the monsters. Looking forward to it though. I like tatuaje in general
Padron 1964 maduro in a tube. I’ve never seen this. Square tubo. Robusto ish in size. Nice looking smoke. Never had this or the natural. Looking forward to this one as well
Fuente anejo torpedo maybe? Long cedar sleeve. Never had I don’t think. I’m not sure why but I haven’t smoked many fuente. I like the crap outta em. All the ones I’ve tried have been gifts.
Montecristo #2 I’ve never had these. Tried to buy a box from a guy on a different forum a bit back. He never gave me a price. So I’ve been wanting to try one of these just to see if the hype is real. This one won’t stick around long and he’s getting charred.

So after drinking the beer and studying the sauce that were indicative of the clue. I think I’m gonna have to guess my Santa is Hinza

Hinza is out in Michigan Where they make the sauce and beer. So am I correct?

Thank you very much for the fine smokes and drank. I’m looking forward to having some of that whiskey soon. Might even pour some in my new travel cup. Break it in correctly.

Great guess Jake! Hope you like the hit.

I'm a big time Maduro guy, but the 20 acre farm was one of my favorite new releases this year

The tats are monsters (Hyde's) that I love

Fuente is the Anejo 888

If you're ever looking for monte's or psd4 I have a local reliable source so just let me know.

The Elijah Craig bottle is a store pick single barrel selected by my local store (brotherhood of the barrel), it's a really fantastic version of EC so I hope you enjoy!

And finally ..my shameless plug... The Smokin Romeo Peach sauce from Meat Daddy BBQ is my sauce from the small business I just started! I'd love to hear what you think.

In fact, for all of you azzhats, if you want to try some, go to my website www.meatdaddyque.com and use promo code CBID to get 50% off your order! I may through in a small bombing with your sauce as well Think

Well Santa beat me up pretty good this year. It also appears he may not be done yet too. His note mentions that the elves have been slacking and shipping has been delayed. I guess I will be posting again later once the other shipment arrives. (after the holidays) Contents:

CIGARS:
5 - LFD Chapter One (Figurado): NH and can’t wait to try. Been looking forward to trying this cigar.
5 - Casa Cuevas Maduro (Toro): NH
5 - Club Mareva (Pyramid): NH I have heard very good things about this cigar.
5 - Diesel Whiskey Row Sherry Cask (Toro): I’ve had many time and enjoy quite a bit.

FOOD:
Inhale BBQ Pit Smoked Seed – These look like BBQ pumpkin seeds. Those should rock.
Rise’ n Roll Nutty Crunch – I know I’m going to love this.
Rise’ n Roll Christmas Jam – Looks good smells great.
Tres Leches Caramels – Another fan favorite, caramels.

ITEMS:
T-Shirt – Sawdust is Man Flitter - perfect for me and made the wife laugh for a bit.
Seattle Seahawks knife and lighter set.
Buffalo Puzzle – Beach and Sunset. (The obvious clue in this bombing)

Thank you Dan (Sunoverbeach) for a great selection of cigars and other stuff. It’s going to be a great Christmas around my house….

FIFY - I was very relieved this part made it before you left. Hope you enjoy all and glad the snacks are up your alley. Word of warning: Don't let Mrs. AK try the seeds. I made that mistake and haven't been able to snatch a single seed since, through four separate bags.

Two boxes landed on my porch earlier this week. It has taken a few days to type up the damage list (the wife and I caught something while up in Ohio). Late last week, I received a pretty damn good RAOK from a certain “Tim Kaufman”. So, when these packages arrived from Tim, I was already pretty confident of who sent them. The Alaskan candies and Saintly Glogg assisted in my guess of AKDave as being my Secret Santa. He did a fantastic job with the selection of cigars, booze, candy and swag he sent along. With all of the cigars he has been sending out, I am starting to wonder if he has any cigars left in his humidor(s).

Here is the compiled list of cigars (49) in total.

LFD TCFKA “M” Oscuro
LFD Andulusian Bull
LFD Air Bender

The AF Work of Art are one of my favorite cigars. I just got them recently so I would suggest resting them for a bit.

The Euros in the shot glass is a deception/camouflage technique if you are sending a liquid. Usually the liquid will make a distinctive "glug" sound but the clinking of the coins in the shot glass covers it up. There are other techniques...AKDave put loose pistachios in a plastic cup and then plastic wrapped it.

Otherwise, your sleuthing was effective. I was hoping that the location I sent it from would have thrown you from a loop. I was up in Ohio over the weekend and sent it from there.

With the massiveness of some of the other SS hits, I feel like mine is a little lacking.
