Bummers! d'oh!

Try purging the nozzles. Either blow REALLY hard or use some compressed air.

But, lifetime warranty so if that doesn't work, go to their website and file for an RA.

I've only had one Xikar lighter and I never have been able to light a cigar with it. Remember to open the window before tossing.

My xikar trezo stopped working after about ten years. Sent it in and they sent me a brand new one. Either return the lighter to the retailer you bought it from outer do the online warranty return to Xikar. They will make it right.

Also, while I can appreciate your frustration, this is a luxury lighter for a luxury hobby, and a remedy exists. Chill out and use a match in the mean time. This isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Most, if not all, retailers won’t do that anymore. In the past all postage was covered by Xikar but with the ownership change, that policy was altered. All shipping charges on returns are now the responsibility of the sender. Additionally, you need to request a Return Authorization before sending the defective item back.

Get you a bic

I light with them quite a bit. That said my favorite two lighters are both xikar single flames. Mine act up once in a while. As mentioned I usually blow down into the jets hard then bleed it and it usually works well. All my lighters usually work pretty good.

I had some trouble with different butane a while back. I switched to colibri brand butane and all my crapped out lighters slowly but surely started working better and better. I know other guys have good luck with other brands but colibri is reasonable and it works well

All true based on my experience. Local shpo said "send it to Xikar". Xikar said, "get an authorization and pay to send it to us"...

All told, it took 30 minutes of my time and about $7.00.

Still impressive in this day and age!

That's more than I paid to buy it.
