Didn’t know that they had passed away earlier this month.

Maynard was a heck of a ball player. Iirc, in Super Bowl III, the Colts doubled him, thereby leaving George Sauer one-on-one.

I still remember Browner from his Notre Dame days and then getting drafted by the Bengals.

Not just the Jets, but I think he was on the original NY entry into the AFL which was the Titans.
Yeah, they became the Jets, and he caught a chit ton of looong balls from Namath.

One of those opponents I learned to appreciate.
