First thing that caught my attention is the drum beat.

The intro briefly kinda sounds like the intro to Bonzo's Montreux: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhyakhoE4CM

Then it sounds like he's sampling Clyde Stubblefield's Funky Drummer without some of the kick bass: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=driK3LHUBo8

Admittedly, my computer speakers don't have much bass drive so might be missing it. Also admittedly, I'm not a musician (fact, not opinion) so what do I know.

File this away on random stupid thoughts - that file folder is getting rather large.
