(CNN)The incoming executive director for Georgetown University's Center for the Constitution has been placed on administrative leave after social media comments made last week questioning President Joe Biden's intentions for the US Supreme Court vacancy.

When I saw this my immediate reaction was that he must have said something horrific about Biden’s plan that being a black woman was his primary qualification for his upcoming Supreme Court nomination.

I fixed some popcorn and then went about figuring out what he said. Turns out he stated that the best candidate is Sri Srinivasan, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. That’s when I realized it was even worse than I imagined….he stated the best candidate was a white male!

At another juncture, a student demanded that the dean cover for the classes that the activists had missed as a result of the sit-in, suggesting that the move should be part of a "reparations" package for black students. She followed up by insisting that students be given a designated place on campus to cry. "Is there an office they can go to?" she asked. "I don't know what it would look like, but if they want to cry, if they need to break down, where can they go? Because we're at a point where students are coming out of class to go to the bathroom to cry"
