I know it was limited production last fall. It’s dry out there. Anyone here able to snag a box or two? How’d it compare to the straight V

Melanio tastes like the cigar equivalent of 99 virgins.

Straight V tastes like an Ent from the Lord of the Rings wiped its @ss with a used d!ldo. With some notes of dried cherries and marzipan on the finish.

At least that's my guess. I've never smoked a melanio lancero, and only one V lancero. My opinion is mostly based on the Punch I smoked last night.

Actually the lancero really wasn't bad. But it's hard to fairly make a judgment based on one cigar, so I just assume that the one I smoked was an outlier and that the rest of them suck.

Really wasn’t bad??
Now THAT’S what I call a solid endorsement!

Here’s a tip for da noobs on how to translate cigar reviews.
When you read the following:
-it wasn’t bad
-decent yard gar
-OK for what I paid
-it’s my walking the dog cigar
And so on....

That means the cigar suqed rhino azz

In that case, I thought it was good. I'm not so good at speaking in code.

The lancero was good. The belicoso tasted like used octupus j!sm.

We really need to know what it was used for, before we have a frame of reference here. Not sure yet whether this, IYO, is a good thing or a bad thing. ;)

Comes in about the same size as margarine Tubs. Right on up to gallon sized. Cheaper than butter. Better than margarine
