They need to realize that they are wrong.

Alrighty then, death it is. I'm good, after all I have mentioned the French had a pretty efficient solution backing the day.

I think it’s about critical thinking. Stepping out of yourself for a moment and seeing that both sides, even the Far right and far left, both want a better world. Granted they have very different views and values about what would make a better world.

Politics is always a struggle of class against class. Oddly, many fight for a different class than their own. This is the art and science of politics. Getting your opposition to vote for you.

Now take welfare; is it a detrimental handout to slackers and thieves or is it the humanitarian right thing to do that helps us all? Well, it’s both. Yet we get sold on it being largely one or the other - by people with a vested interest.

So when the vote comes, it something really in your best interest? In our best interest?

Doesn’t matter what you think, there is a YouTube video out there that will tell you you are right - or wrong.

Think for yourself and try to remember that the other guy is just fighting for what is best - he just may be a poopy head….

Brewha, you badly missed the point. ANY POLITICIANS, this basically means every politician. Plus, let's make back loads of that money they are whores for, and decrease the national debt. Pay per view world wide. Death games 2022. Plus for the big guys, hunting, someone would pay big money to kill Biden, Trump, et al. Plus greater pay per view revenue. I like it Z!!

Brew you never eliminate classes, only the titles and clothes change in even the most severe actions.

Operational framework is much more important IMO. That’s kind of where selfishly I’d like to see the conversation return to, most “ism”s are a tool of distraction and division.

Here ZRX...You'll appreciate this.

Seeing two minds meet in the middle was refreshing to see. It does nothing to change my mind on either one, but their effort in real discussion was nice. Bill, has ALWAYS tried to play up the "but I'm a Libertarian", when he hasn't walked the walk at all. Smoking weed doesn't define one as Libertarian. Hearing him having to back peddle on whom he's defended all these years is worth watching him for. He only pops up on conservative websites when he renounces the DNC and it's stupidity. During the Trump administration he was one of the loudest "Trump is Hitler" screamers. Hearing him talk about vaccines...he was right up in the mask up and get the jab crowd mere months ago. It really makes me wonder if his capitulation is just to save his paydays.

News and Social Media are products sold by advertisers.
As a people, we are too dim to understand that.
Those who believe they are getting the straight story are delusional.
The right will continue to feed Fox News, the far left will continue to feed MSNBC & CNN. And the people calling themselves moderates watch the slightly less-left mainstream network news.

Or, we get all of the Pancake people together, crush this Waffle Rebellion once and for all and we'll have peace in our time.

What will be telling is how the Republicans can eff this up. Trump isn’t the solution. Wonder how many conservatives are Never-Trumpers.

55% are anti-Biden.
Independents get split.
10% of Republicans are Never-Trumpers.
Bravado and over confidence drives Trump to the nomination.
Biden wins re-election by a sliver.

Trump was a palate cleanser. I understand and appreciate him beating Hillary although I didn’t support or vote for him.

Making him out to be the face of the party for the 21st century is a poor idea.

I agree, especially in Massachusetts and especially under the Electoral College system.

A vote for GOP loses.
Dems win without my vote.

The only way a third or even fourth party gets the money and a seat at the next national debate is by garnering 15% of the vote (I think that's the percentage).

I plan to continue this practice indefinitely. If enough dissatisfied voters do this, we may someday have choices that better represent individuals views. But people seem to prefer complaining to trying to use the system effectively.

I read the pre-release cliff notes of that book.

Wandering the desert for 40 yrs... dragging the third leg... Talk about a raw burn in biblical proportions that he had to suffer through on such a tender appendage. I would almost rather be crucified.

You did not vote at all when he won but appointed yourself a front runner and scorner of those who were not fooled by the Grifter in Charge.

Yeah, lecture those who actually voted, tell them that they voted wrong when you passed altogether.
Hard to listen to the one who says do what I say, not what I do.
Hypocrisy.

And you chase me around claiming you know my votes?
Even weirder.

Want to claim you voted both times? You wanna minute to think about it?

I haven't appointed myself of anything. It's called Free Speech. You don't have to like what I say. I might not like what you have to say, but I've defended your right to say it.

Lecture? That would imply that you're listening and learning. You haven't shown that to me. You're still stuck in the mud.

I don't chase you. At all. I find that rather funny. BOO!

frankj1 wrote:

I don't need a minute. You know the EXACT reason why I didn't vote for him in the 1st election. Are you going to play stupid for everyone here again and act like you don't know?

you kept insisting I voted for Biden. Dropped hints here and there, I ignored most.
But that's an incorrect assumption.

Had I actually believed in him, I would have gladly done so. Wish I could have in fact.
But I had doubts he was up to the mess the 2020 winner would inherit.

As a registered "unenrolled" (used to be "independent" in MA but now that's a party I guess) I'm far likelier to go Democrat, but I can't support them with the wildly progressive growth happening...though it's no surprise some progressive stuff is not distasteful to me, I am a left of center Liberal on many issues after all.
But locally, I'm even looking to get involved to unseat Pressley. Thinking about it at least. Not sure if it comes down to simply campaigning for an opponent but that's not a draw for me.

So I went 3rd party again for reasons stated a few times.
Wish you had done the same in 2016.

You knew I'd remember WHY you passed, HA!- we actually had some good interaction back then...we both despised Hillary and neither took Trump seriously blah blah blah.
Again, I wish just 1.5 out of 10 voters who hate the major party choices weren't being told 3rd party has no chance so it's a wasted vote. Having no chance does not mean no effect.

I'd rather 5 parties than 2. I'll settle for 3 though.

I'm hardly stupid, I'm also fairly confident most here would say the same of me. I do better than simply survive here for a reason despite being in the vast minority of political opinion.
I am more civil than you, probably more open minded, but at the same time I do know you have and would defend my right to say even dumb chit, and I have and will return the courtesy.

Missed the final cuz I went to a 3 day party somewhere near Kutztown State College with a buddy from Bethlehem PA.
His dad was filthy rich and sent a single engine plane that picked us up somewhere near Seneca Falls NY (we were "attending" Eisenhower College 1971) and flew us to Lancaster PA (before Mr Jones saved the planet) and had a new BMW waiting for us to complete the trip.

To this day, I feel it was worth it. Woulda killed my kids if they did it.
