Wondering if any of you use video channels like YouTube or others to find helpful in learning how to expand your cunniling.. culinary knowledge. Ideally, they are fun along with informative.

When it comes to BBQ, brisket, slow roasting pork, ribs, burnt ends, & chili etc. there are several specialists here.

Basic stuff to get some cooking momentum. Maybe you go to cooking channels mostly for entertainment?

Thanks.

You tube's too restrictive. You need to check other video channels to expand your cunniling.... ummm, nevermind. Anxious

Kent Rollins

Justin Wilson RIP, AKA "Cooker Man" as he was known to our sons where they were very young and enjoyed his TV show.

Most of the food channels I follow on YouTube are bbq/outdoor cooking things.

Guga foods
Sous vide everything
Mad scientist bbq
Meat church

That's the ones I can think of right now, there's a lot I follow. I like the experiment channels, cause that's how I cook. Keep everything but one variable the same and see how it goes. Or try something entirely new where the only ingredient I'm familiar with is salt and the rest I can't even pronounce.

Uncle Roger covered Nigella…..

Meat Church and Mad Scientist are good….Guga does some neat things and some stuff I roll my eyes at. The MSG dry aged steak was interesting. I’m not a huge sous vide fan.

With only one exception currently, I don't typically watch any chef or channel religiously. Mainly just tune in randomly watch for fun & ideas. Sometimes I will seek out a dish, recipe, technique.

- Jacques Pepin has been re-releasing old content along with new-ish stuff, a lot of it quite simple yet fantastically good. Amazing the ease he breezes through things and still maintains humility, he's just on a higher plane than most of the of the other shows.
- George Motz is the only one I consistently watch. He's a freaking riot, and arguably the most knowledgeable person on the planet when it comes to hamburger history. He just keeps knocking it out of the park imo.
- Ballistic BBQ is good, Steve (?) tends to walk you through everything for a recipe. Easy to follow.
- Malcom Reed is definitely a good resource.
- Sam the Cooking Guy & BBQ Pit boys are good for fun simple ideas. Or sometimes just the humor value.
- Alton Brown is still a good science & technique guy as is Adam Ragusea
- J. Kenji Lopez-Alt breaks stuff down quite well too.
