The other auction of these is at $9. It should close for $12ish or less. You can get a freakin´ bundle for $40ish.

^ I think what kills me about this is that the one auction closed for $11. That's market. The other closed at $32. How do you not look to see if there are other auctions of the same cigar? Just, just ... come on.

The winning bid is disturbing, but a $46 msrp for a 5er of Media Noche is a wee bit off as well

And he must have put that bid in without using Max Bid. Otherwise, someone else would have had to have bid him up to that level. Think

Sometimes folks mistake a box for a fiver , a fiver for a single.....on and on it goes...... Not every overbid is due to stupidity or not checking prices etc. fog

PS. Imagine coming from CA and bidding here according to California brick and mortar prices (granted in such a case one might find fault in not looking over the prices online. ) .

^Overbidder apologist!

We take our mocking seriously, and we came to mock.

To put it bluntly, we came here to mock and chew bubblegum, and we're all out of bubblegum.

I highly doubt it was an error. The lot was listed on the "Singles auction" page with 200 other singles up for bid around it, is listed plain as day as a SINGLE CIGAR, and he was bidding for all 3 offered. You will find here at CBid "Sometimes folks" are idiots who will pay above C.I. & MSRP prices so they have there favorite AVERAGE CIGAR available regardless of the highly moronic max bid.fog Whistle

Wait, they each won 52 cigars, right? It's 5.2" long and you get 52 of them... (5.2"x52)

Sounds like a good deal to me.

Maybe.....In any case my comments were not directed at anyone in particular, just a general statement... I also understand the need to have fun at others expense, though I try to avoid doing so in most cases... Herfing

PS Still with a box pictured, a different view like "Newly Added" and a quick bidding finger (Not paying attention, poor eyesight (like on a phone app) etc.) one might make the mistake..... I am familiar with strange/idiotic bids as my experience here goes way back... I do not disagree. I simply present other possibilities.... Beer

They USED to be on FF for a great price back in the day.
Once they get a couple years on them, quite a great $3 cigar imo.

I said this before but years ago on a different auction site, I purposely bidded more than MSRP on some WOANs because I wanted to maximize the flat rate shipping on an order I was building. Before I could submit my overbid, the site sent me a “Are you sure you want to do this?” warning to make sure I wasn’t making a mistake. Was nice to see that they were looking out for their customers.

Holy buyer's remorse batman!!!

And I don't understand how the bid could have gotten that high. It's not like someone bid him up that much. I'm thinking maybe he was thinking to bid $22, with a max bid of $51 and just put it all on one line?

I would call and see if I could just pay msrp. Or double msrp in this case.

Yeesh. Got mine for 13 bucks, same brand and same color. Although I think it’s inaccurate. It reads about 5-8% lower than it should.
