84% of the energy we use comes from fossil fuels. That's only down TWO percentage points from 20 years ago. Despite billions of dollars thrown at green energy.

It's almost like the green power promoters have been pissing on taxpayers and calleing it acid rain while counting their profits.

It's ECO-Fascism pure and simple, government and special interests joined at the hip, promising to deliver high-sounding dreams that can't be realized with current technology without destroying the earth and civilization in the process. It's just another public-private partnership with the primary goal of selling a bill of goods to the public.

We just haven’t thrown enough money at green energy yet.

Yup, throwing more stolen loot at it along with some platitudes, slogans, and a pinch of pixie dust solves all problems real or imagined.

Clearly if we throw the REST of everyone's money at green energy THAT will solve the problem.

Green energy is not the answer, IMO.

Nuclear energy is the answer. We need to spend that green money on R&D to figure out what to do with the spent rods.

This, reasearch on nuclear fusion and something we already know quite well, conservation. We could save a crap ton of energy by adding insulation, improving effeciency and replacing inefficient equipment. Globl trade wastes a huge amount of fuel moving raw materials over the ocean as well as the products made from that material.

I agree with nuclear as a major component of our electrification but unless we use it to run our transportation it won't make much of a dent in our overall needs. You are gonna need a bigger sail on your next boat.
