Grammy’s Go Full Satan — Lil Nas Routine Is Straight from Hell – Crowd Cheers – God Help Us

By Jim Hoft
Published April 3, 2022 at 9:47pm

"The Grammy’s went full Satan this year.
The crowd loved it.

This is the filth the left is pushing on America.

Satan is edgy.

God help us. God save this country.

This was Lil Nas at the Grammy Awards tonight.

Via Midnight Rider."

Tipper Gore? How dare you! Wasn't she married to Beelzebub Al?

I'll have you know that I am a fan of the Demon Rock & Roll.

So you're a fan of that yappin Lil Nasty turd and his Satanic ensemble?

Nah, I just have PTSD from the attack on devil music in the 80s so I tend to decry any accusation of music/performance having that effect on an audience of presumably sound mind

For my limited rap/hip hop needs, I roll with RATM (if you count them), Beastie Boys (if you count them), or Wu Tang

This doesn’t really qualify as a true Rap song but I do like it:

That's not RAP/HIP HOP. That's White Man Honky Music.

Now, now, Ray. Let's not go getting all racial. There's a significant history of sampling and remaking rock tunes for rap/hip hop tracks. To Conan's disclaimer, some would argue that Run DMC pioneered fusion of the two genres, or three if you separate rap and hip hop

Billy Squier - Big Beat sampled by Run DMC, UTFO, Big Daddy Kane, Tribe Called Quest, Jay-Z

Lou Reed - Walk on the Wild Side sampled by Trribe called Quest

Doors - Five to One sampled by Jay Z

LZ - When the Levee Breaks/The Ocean sampled by Beastie Boys

Jefferson Airplane - Today sampled by Black Sheep

Steely Dan - Peg sampled by De La Soul

The Clash - Straight to Hell sampled by M.I.A

Van Halen - Jamie's Crying sampled by Ton Loc

Aerosmith - Dream On basically remade by Eminem

Black Sabbath - The Wizard sampled by Cypress Hill

Slayer - Angel of Death sampled by Public Enemy

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath & LZ - When the Levee Breaks sampled by Ice T

Van Halen - Ain't Talking About Love sampled by 2 Live Crew

B,S&T - You Make Me So Very Happy sampled by Ol' Dirty B@stard

Bad Brains - Re-Ignition sampled by Chubb Rock

Just to name a few. Add to that there're examples of white rappers in this list and an all black hardcore punk band, and it'd be fairly safe to say that music transcends constraints of race and ethnicity

Samplin' White Man Honky Music is cheatin'. It's no wonder music sucks so bad these days.
It's all done on a computer, there ain't no musicians, just some damn fools strutting on a stage to a CG recording.

A) pretty fuggin racist
B) some sucks IMO. Some doesn't in many opinions
C) All on computer? I think thousands from the well known to the unknown on venues from street corners to arenas would beg to differ
