New York magazine reported this week that BLM "secretly bought a $6 million house" in southern California in October 2020 using funds donated to the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation.

According to the report, BLM leadership hoped to keep the luxury property's existence a secret.

In fact, documents reviewed by New York magazine suggested the "property’s purchase and day-to-day operation suggest that it has been handled in ways that blur, or cross, boundaries between the charity and private companies owned by some of its leaders."

Black Lives Matter revealed last year that it received more than $90 million in 2020.

When you really think about it, real estate is a great investment now ( if you bought years ago at way lower prices)....but it always builds to massive bubbles then crashes , then back up ...
They missed the "cheap prices" about 10 yrs ago...
And bought HIGH at the heighth of the pandemic and black riots pricing increases....
Will have to watch if this "buy high" system of investment works out....

Sho' seems like they spend a lot of time and $$$ to hide their shenanigans....

Dyane Pascall, the financial manager for Janaya and Patrisse Consulting — an LLC operated by Cullors and her spouse, Janaya Khan, bought the Studio City mansion in cash to conceal the misuse of the charities’ donations.

Six days later, Pascal transferred the property’s deed to an LLC named after the property’s address, New York Magazine reports.

It turns out, the BLM-linked developer paid $3.1 million for the same mansion just 6 days earlier, the New York Post reported.

Explains how and why the organization never put a dime back of the other $84mil into the inter cities, community centers, programs for kids, gun buybacks, community clean up efforts, or did any positive programming with the people they claim they’re representing. I’m also guessing that $90mil number seems quite a bit lower than expected.

Don't think he claimed it was. Just seems that when it comes to light this person spent millions on real estate, after having been found around a year ago to have spent millions on real estate, and was eyeballing millions in island real estate which she may or may not have bought, my shock and awe has sadly disappeared
