This has been a test of Le HockeyDad Emergency Broadcast System. In the event of a need to panic you will be directed on where and how to panic.

In other news, California’s statewide mask mandate ends at midnight. Not for school kids though…they need to take their Ritalin and antidepressants and STHU.

In my part of California I expect 50-75% remain masked indoors. I’ll prolly venture out tomorrow just for fun and scout a bit. In my county (and the SF bat area) we were only unmasked from a June 16 to August 1. People and going to freak out tomorrow when they can unmask but their mental issues won’t allow it. It will be one giant panic attack.

Little by little some towns are ending the mask mandate here in MA.

Last week Worcester, MA is ending the mask mandate. (Worcester is the 2nd largest city in New England with Boston being the largest). The city board of health voted 3-2 to end the mandate starting Feb 18th. The city manager and the city medical director have both recommended this move.

But... leave it up to bumbling city government, one of the guys that sits on the Board of Health forgot to take the oath of office so his vote didn't count and was not valid. They are supposed to do a re-vote tomorrow (the 18th) once the dude takes the oath.

https://www.wgbh.org/news/local-news/2022/02/11/worcester-to-revote-on-city-mask-mandate-after-procedural-flub

Wally World (at least in my store) removed the mask mandate for employees just the other day.

I tell ya, my wife was never nice. On our first date, I asked her if I could give her a good night kiss on the cheek. She bent over!

First day of freedom from masks since August 1. Went on a scouting mission to the grocery store for a few items. 75% still wearing masks.

That pig ain't gonna fly HD. The Governor knows the political consequences of such an action. A recall vote. Then a new Governor.

I wonder when mask shaming will become a loony left thing. They just don't understand no one gives a f*ck.

+1 !!!

I think everyone is really burnt out on this entire covid lockdown mask wearing booochiiittt!

I think almost everyone is really tired and almost willing to contract the Rona to regain normalcy and way less stress...unless you catch it , and you die... which is a big chance for seniors overweight asthma, heart conditions, diabetes, high blood pressure....but the odds go way way down the healthier and younger you are...

The real tradgedy is all the burnt out nurses, hospital workers, doctors, and any hospital employee...

Jonsey, there is chit unsaid.

1) Sufficient units of vitiman D, 5000, greatly reduces the severity of covid, 30% on average. Factor in it makes no real difference for the healthy, the number goes way up for those less healthy.

2) covid damage and death is about inflammation, even the lung damage. Do a ten day regimen of cortical steroids.

I would venture that is a very substantial % of this country unfortunately.

In Az I doubt more than 10% are wearing masks unless they are in a place that requires that like a doctor office. I have not used one since we flew to Mn in Sept.

The behavior is very different when you cross state lines. The difference between free states and mask slave states is shocking.

Same here in NY. The Dicktatoress of NY lifted the face diaper order last week. I stopped at Walmart yesterday and I was surprised at the number of frightened peeps still wearing masks. You can now tell who the Democratic voting sheeple are more easily, they're most likely wearing masks. 😷

I'm losing track, what's the new COVID variant now that will kill mankind this year? How many masks do we need to wear and how many ineffective shots to we need to inject?

Rather than a vax passport that has to be stamped and signed off, maybe we just get one of those cards where they use a hole punch. But not a circle punch, that would be too easy to fake and is boring. Like a punch that has a squiggy Rx snake thingy. It would save on ink and look cool.

Also we should expand injections for a drive up service where you don't even have to get out of the car... drive up to CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, WalMart... they sick you, punch your card and give you a Dum-Dum lollypop. Maybe a complimentary car wash sponsored by Pfizer with blinky lights and stuff

Those are all good ideas Bucky for the authoritarians to ponder.
I've heard Fauci say though that you are on your own now to decide what is best for you. I think he's just too old and tired of being the God of Science.
Someone did say on the TV this morning that the seasonal flu may come back with a vengeance this fall after being told to take a hike by the Rona.

Also no copays on ‘Rona vaccines or abortions.

We’re two months out now from the lifting of mask mandates and about 1/3 are still wearing masks.

Masks on people walking outside is still common.

Masks on people driving alone is still common.

I think “Immunocompromised” is gonna be the next cool thing like “gluten-free”.

I was rethinking this. Might have been 5 visits.

Eggroll mighta helped.

Well, dicktators find a certain portion of the people are easier to make their fear porn mental conditioning stick than others.

Then you have others that have an investment in fashion masks to match their wardrobe that they just wouldn't want to go to waste.

Or testing either, but what they end up billing is outrageous. Thank goodness our government can just keep writing ridiculous checks and give out free money…

Great video. I think I read our FDA has this same issue due to now being primarily funded by big pharma rather than our own government.

Had a customer at Wally World ask me if a certain coffee (a can of coffee grounds not like a premade coffee mix or something like that) was dairy and gluten free because she was breast feeding and her infant is lactose intolerant and has gluten allergies.

I just looked at her with a blank face wondering if I heard her correctly and if it was a real question or if it was a joke. Turns out it I did hear her correctly and it was real question.

I verbally said yes, it's gluten free and does not contain dairy. My inner mind slipped into Drafter mode and told me to ask her to see her tits for a full analysis but I didn't verbalize that comment.

New York state officials this week announced that two new omicron subvariants, dubbed BA.2.12 and BA.2.12.1, have become the dominant forms of the coronavirus in the central part of the state. For weeks, infection rates in central New York have been at least twice the state average, according to data from the state health department.

If I get the sniffles again will the government give me free money? Spring allergy season in on the horizon... errr I mean COVID 2022 is on the horizon.

I might have to wait until the government and the pharmaceutical industry tells me that a new pandemic is here and I'll have to mask up and shelter in place. I just want to do what is right... it's my patriotic and civil duty to flatten the curve and stuff.

On an unrelated a side note... Ginger snap cookies and a tall glass of cold milk go well together. Just sayin...

I prefer them a little softer but I didn't get them out of the oven in time so they are a bit crunchy. Not a bad thing, just would prefer them to be a little softer.
