Think

How in the hell is Russia T.O.T.A.L.Y. FLATTENING ENTIRE CITIES WITH CONVENTIONAL Weaponry?

I mean entire blocks upon blocks in every city is totally flattened ..rubble city...

I keep hearing these refugees saying they want the war to stop and go back home...

To what???

There are no homes, bldgs, stores, roads, bridges, airports to go back to ..

It is total destruction...

Nothing is left standing in many cities...

It is unbelievable....

Look at you in war...There has never been a just one, never an honorable one, on the part of the instigator of the war.

I am wondering what it would take for the U.S. to actively engage in this war?

I am not advocating one way or the other here, just wondering what you all think should be the "OK, that's enough" activity by Russia whereby we start launching cruise missles and getting troops on planes.

Thoughts?

Curious, though, how the UN should handle this since the clear aggressor is a SC member and can simply veto any proposed action by the UN?

So now that we know that (out loud), do we:

a. Form a coalition on our own and stand up for "right" in the face of "wrong" simply for the moral principles?
b. Form said coalition but secure some kind of favorable remuneration (natural resources, military bases, etc.) as a payment?
c. Sit back and let the events play out without intervening?

I know there are significant costs for "a" and "b" in both blood and treasure, but what about the costs of "c"?

I think everyone looks at WWII and says that millions of lives would have been saved if the US hadn't waited so long to join the efforts. Are we making the same mistake (obviously on a smaller scale) again?

I don't have answers (or my mind made up) yet, just wondering what any of you thought...

We're gonna hunker behind the demented Alzheimer's patient and hope that Lindsay Graham doesn't have the shingles or hives.

In other words...the entire world is screwed. This is exactly why you don't elect a Democrat. Especially an old Democrat. There are no good outcomes when they're compromised as well. Here comes that 3AM call and WWIII on the horizon.

Wish I wasn't joking.

PS: The Pentagon is more worried about gender reassignment than forming a combat mission to save the US and the world.

PSS: The UN has ALWAYS been feckless. They watched too many Keystone Cops movies and used them as training videos.

What I want to know about....

And have heard nothing about....

Isssss...

The L.O.O.T.I.N.G
AND
THEFT ????

THERE HAS to be art museums, private art collections, bank vaults, store vaults, private home vaults, luxury cars, gold coins & bars, silver coins and bars in banks and private homes...antiques all over the place, jewelry stores with watches, rings, stones....

It's gotta be a free for all over there...maybe thats why the Russians keep fighting and brutalizing????
They proud get to keep what they can steal to some degree or another...with the big finds getting getting kicked back upstairs to "the big guy" ( not joe Stranosa) but to PUTIN...

Thankfully fear and guilt never get us into prolonged world police actions.

The UN needs to be held accountable and not American taxpayers/voters with the above tools.

how many Americans have been trashing the UN and saying get US out of UN for decades now?
Can't be on that team and also tell them to do their job now.

Stogie makes a critical point...Russia has a vote. Kind of negates any opinion on the role of the UN.

Maybe a coalition? WWII might be the lesson to have learned from vs isolationist policies.
It doesn't have to smack of US colonization if staving off potential genocide, does it?

The United Nations is simply a feels good organization. Serious question, what have they ever accomplished that is important?

Frank they’ve been bashed for good reasons. My point is if they can’t function during something like this what is their point? They have a responsibility to show their worth other than employing whores and redistributing money where they see fit.

You want to say America needs to lead than make the case and tell me about our great leader that’s ready to lead the charge (as long as the bunny tells him which direction to walk).
